Today, the mysterious movie "Triangle", released in 2009, is available on the forum.

Its a bit scary.

I watched it a few years ago.
Not a bad movie.
It was something new to say the least.

These last few days, I watched a few good ones.

Upgrade (2018)
Set in the future, this is a great sci-fi thriller fit to be an episode of Netflix's Black Mirror.

Hard Candy (2005)
It's probably a movie to the liking of any pedophile hating person.
I'm sure everyone will like it, especially the forums (movies & beyond) specialist scarface.
(mature audiences only)

Captive State (2019)
Starring John Goodman & others,
it's a sci-fi thriller about an alien invasion with much originality, great acting, and lots of action.

They're all good movies worth watching by my standards.

BTW I watch only good movies to say the least, if not great all the time.
Maybe later I'll write something about the criteria I stick to on watching films & series.
Because we all have a lot of things to be busy with in our lives and don't have the time to watch something we might consider as "Not worth the 90-120 minutes or so" of our lives.

A little bit indeed. It's a one-time-watch movie.

Only American movies? Nothing else interesting?
I think I watched Hard Candy a long time ago, I don't know the others.

If you want to watch the American version, (aa1234779 will find this version easier to understand since Valjean is talking with his fists) it's here:

Tonight, another movie, titled Surrogates, and released in 2009 is available on the forum. It's an American movie. It's quite entertaining, even though it received mixed reviews from critics.

My friend scarface did not like the fact that I only recommended American movies I watched lately.

I'm an Arab & have nothing against my first language or any other languages around the world.

Yet I only like English speaking movies, even if dubbed, I don't care, but being distracted from the movie by focusing on subs is not my thing.

And as to Arab cinema & TV, it's the worst except for some rare gems every few years.

Speaking of, here is a list of 7 new Arabic films that I will NEVER WATCH ;D

I'm not against American movies, but if we can find sth better...And coming from someone as perfect as you, I was a bit disappointed.
The users of the forum must be looking for these gems. For example, in this message, there is a Palestinian remake of Terminator and a  melodrama set in Afghanistan. This is a different kind of show, to say the least:

I don't rate movies by language or nationality, but by content. Good movies - and bad ones - come in all colors.

That's true. But when you are looking for subtlety, it's pretty difficult to find good American movies. They are aimed at the general public and therefore they usually lack refinement. Some are made only to entertain, like Predator or Commando, there is practically no plot: the villain shoots, the nice guy shoots, and you have to see what happens.
But it's totally voluntary: with an IQ of 40 it's possible to understand the movie. And to watch the sequel, it's only necessary to remind you that the bad guy was killed at the end of the 1st movie.

Tonight, I'm reposting 2 good movies (with English subtitles).

Well, tonight I'm re-watching the movie "stoker", in case I missed something. It's a pretty weird movie.
