I wonder why nobody seems to have the same problem with Win7...

Anyways, I installed and have been using my not so genuine September built copy.. for some weeks.
And now it keeps yelling and gets on my nerves.

What I did so far was to uninstall KB971033, as suggested by this site:
http://techlikes.com/2010/03/11/uninstall-windows-7-activation.html

Is there a specific way how to solve this problem on nomaher's Win7 ??

Last time I checked, Maher's copy of Windows 7 included the latest version of Daz loader. This is the program of choice for activating Windows 7. There is no need for any keys.

If you're missing a copy of Daz loader, do a search on your favorite torrent site.

Eerm, i've been using Maher's .iso builds for a long time now and always activated them with Windows Loader. They never had problems updating on the fly. I really don't understand why you have this problem. I'm even using the November x64 build on my laptop right now.

OH...
I must have missed the very basics! Since I didn't care about Automatic Updates. Shall I switch it off?

Now I have 3 following questions:
1) What shall I do now?
Is it enough to do the DAZ loader and not to care about until next time?

2) How do I do my updates? Only via Maher's builds? How do I do that?
3) Is there a way to do the regular AU and maybe to hide some specific KB to avoid the problem to come back?

Thank you!

Just install whatever windows 7 maher build you have available, activate it with windows loader and update like everyone else - through windows updates.

Thank you all for the help!

Since I didn't had in mind to reinstall Win7 and all other stuff again I followed the steps of this site:

I had to remove WAT first and rebuild it again, after that I could install the DAZ WinActivator!
My last and last question is:
Do I need to revalidate Windows as suggested on the website above?
And why do I need it?

I am a little cautious about doing this step, since ... well.. you all know why, don't you?!?

shhnedo

You can revalidate just for fun. It's not needed for windows updates. ;]

Hi, Krysty keep smiling don't be nerves... I had have same problem before... now depend on you I Suggest
the best way is buying the genuine key...LOL , IF doesn't you can using Windows loader DAZ or Extreme, many loader,
toolkit to activate your Windows OS.  Personally I'M NOT using Loader...Windows auto update.
so far was to uninstall KB971033, as suggested by this site It's OK but don't Auto update (Chose "never check for updates")

Reavalidate your windows are not really necessary!
M$ Link Validate: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/?displaylang=en&control=install
Hopefuly you 'll understood.. My moderator or brother suggestion not confuse you, that's Windows OS... See you! then.

i think there is no need to validate again,
Validate windows 7link: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ValidationResult.aspx?displaylang=en&PageName=validate
My experience DONOT validate as i mentioned the link above .. otherwise your windows will black listed.

If you want a "validated" or "genuine" copy of Windows, you have to dig deep into your pocket and pay for it, something most people don't do.

@iih â†' if your copy of Windows 7 gets "blacklisted" then you're the only guy on the planet with this problem. I have never seen that happen nor do I know anyone who actually paid for Windows.
