FYI - Convenience Rollup for Windows 7

I tried running this on my Mahers's SP1 April 2015 install, but CR responded with: "This update is not applicable to your computer".
So it appears Win 7 CR won't work with the Mahers install at this point.

This ISO does not affect anything on Windows update. It all depends on how you activate it, if you paid for a key, or if you used DAZ then I can 99.9% say it wont be any issues.
Atleast through the years I've been on the forum! (Because I've used those iso's all these years)

For those of you who want activated Windows 10 and are upgrading from a Daz copy of Windows 7, hurry up - the offer expires July 29, 2016.

Haven't installed any updates (WU is off via default Maher setting). But after reading this I notice in the Action Center, Windows Update shows "Windows Update is not setup for this computer"...could that be the issue?

Yes, While installing updates make sure windows update service and BITS are turned to Manual or Auto before proceeding further.

Both services are turned on. Still getting "This update is not applicable to your computer" response from CR. I may have to resort to normal process via WU.

Use MS fixit to fix windows update try re-applying the update. If it fails, try sfc /scannow to check and repair integrity violations.

Why not just grab any copy and download the updates from MS via Windows Update?
