Tonight, a few interesting photos published in January are available on the forum.

These men participate in the festival "Jallikattu", a Hindu religious tradition, also known as Manju Virattu (bull hunting). Celebrated in the south of India, this practice takes place in the state of Tamil Nadu, during the Ponga festival.
Some human participants have to attempt to grab the large hump on the bull's back with both arms and hang on to it while the bull attempts to escape. Participants hold the hump for as long as possible, attempting to bring the bull to a stop. In some cases, participants must ride long enough to remove flags on the bull's horns.

A team of Chinese scientists have announced that they have cloned five monkeys, copies of a single specimen whose genes had been modified to make it sick: an initiative that could help medical research. This type of biomedical advances, however, often causes controversy, especially in China.

Incidents broke out in Athens with more than 20 injured, mostly police officers, during a demonstration that brought together between 60,000 and 100,000 people against the agreement on the new name of Macedonia, which the Greek parliament must ratify shortly. Scuffles took place between the police and about thirty hooded young people, who managed to throw projectiles while trying to force the entrance of the Parliament. Riot police retaliated by firing tear gas, which resulted in the dispersal of many demonstrators.

Juan Guaido, head of the opposition-controlled Venezuelan parliament, proclaimed himself the country's interim "president," and was immediately recognized by the United States and its allies in the region. The Venezuelan army, the unwavering support of Socialist President Nicolas Maduro, rejected the self-proclamation of Juan Guaido.

I went to St Etienne in August and it's the first time I come back. Im not here for touristic reasons...
I must tell you that I'd rather be in India with Vasudev, or in Texas, playng tennis with humbert and you. Im already fed up with St Etienne. it is what I call a "trou de merde". I went there because my family was in the south. Maybe I knew sth was going to happen. But I have no reason to stay over there any longer. You could come if you want. Maybe you'd be a bit  cold with a djellaba but Im sure you could teach me interesting things.

I'd be honored to meet you one day rather to learn from you, whether in the "City of Lights" or elsewhere, just as I would like to meet our host maher, our good friends, humbert, vasudev, the absent Ahmed, and everyone in the avatars you made.
I know France could be an easy bet if I sought asylum there, but I'd rather be elsewhere if I would need to move to Europe.

Maybe easier than Japan. But what would you do here? in Paris you could visit some museums. In st  Etienne, you would water my plants...I gave my father 3 bonsais, and he used to water them. since he died, I got them back. In a way, you would replace him. I'm still thinking that marrying you and adopting shadow.97 could be an interesting concept.
Note that you can discover the nearest school of my residence by watching the movie noce blanche, available on the forum.

That's my point. France is not the place for me. Although the bonsais watering could be rewarding in the sight of God.

Neither am I. Adopting shadow.97, who is already 20 sth could be already quite hard. But you...Since you and I are both 35,  I see no other way. And your story of Asylum does not work, you come from a rich country.
Well, I have no more family, you are already a kind of spiritual brother.

The idea of marriage is not bad. Loneliness and loss can be harsh.
I was almost married before being deported and banned from Egypt in 2013 where my former fiance lives.
I don't object to fate. God chose that for me and he chooses the best even if I can't comprehend why. Life is miserable to a certain point, yes.
But I will keep going. I will survive.
Maybe & hopefully, one day God will re-compensate me for what I held dear and lost because of worldly injustice.
My advice to you my friend, find a life partner, someone you find many interests in common with. Bring children to this world and forget worrying about the depletion of energy or scarcity of food in the future. You can build a life somewhere you find strategically safe.
There is always a way around things. Find it.
Either now or in the future, keep good intent in-mind and you'll find what you seek.

Back home, I had two female cats I raised since they were two-month old kittens. (different breeds)
Since I'm out of the house a lot, they kept each other company. The smaller one, a Persian/street hybrid, would not sleep anywhere but on top of me. Sometimes I don't move during sleep so I don't wake her up. I gave them up for adoption to someone I trust.
I miss them a lot, not to mention my family.

Peace

Well, I said a lot of things yesterday, but talking about marriage, adoption...maybe it's crazy, even if I think we can do things together.
In fact, you are right, in France you have probably no future. And I'm wondering if my life has a meaning here too. Actually, I'm wondering if I shouldn't organize my own disappearance like Florent Claude Labrouste, the character of the book Serotonine of Houellebecq. In France I'm living to work. But I'm wondering if I'm really working to live. And with my assets, I could leave France and go to a poorer country where I could live without job, to get married and have children. I saw your video, and yes you were right, if I marry you, you are not likely to have my children (I was speaking of a fake marriage, and maybe you don't know that in France 2 men can get married...and adopt a child. Something like that might not be possible in Saudi Arabia). But I'm looking for sb who has more than 200K $ of assets, like me. With 500 000$,  I think we can live for a long time and maybe run a small business somewhere. And I'm thinking about countries like India, or Palestine (and I have doubts about India, they already have cars and objects of the modern world). Over there, maybe we could have an authentic life, and forget consumerism. You told me you wanted to go to the "city of light". Maybe you should visit it, and tell me if you really want to live there. After visiting a few museums, you will notice shortly that it's not a healthy life. You are always in the metro, there are poor people everywhere. And you don't have the "time to take your time".
