I installed Windows XP on my old computer (SP3 included). It didnt ask for activation key. It says "Maher's Digital World" on the computer properties. Is this safe?

Well, I know that Maher's signature is present on his versions. At least you can be sure it was done by him.
As for the key, well I found this: Inputting a product key is your best method to convince Microsoft that you own a legitimate license to use Windows XP, but you can still install XP without a product key at the time of installation when using Windows XP CDs with integrated service packs or OEM disks. This will give you 30 days to obtain a valid key, allowing you to use your system in the interim.
Once the trial is over, you wont even be able to log in inside the system until you upgrade to the Latest version with proper registration.
So make sure to have a key.

It is OK! Not only that, but even if there were something wrong with it, it can be fixed.

Maher's XP is a student version with unlimited installs using the same product key which is pre-loaded by Maher himself.

To hxb: windows xp is old, I advise you to switch to a newer Os. Since Maher stopped providing the forum with updated isos of xp (which, btw, is not updated any longer), I suggest a torrent link...

Why do you want XP. Are you stuck with an old machine and can't upgrade, or what?

I tested this version in vmware. Even if it's now a bit old, there is no missing updates, only a few add-ons like wmp11 or netfx4 available in windows update.
Well, I say that for those who still need xp. Maher did a great job.
