Tonight, shadow.97 will be answered (Im currently in a traffic jam). Note that these messages will be displaced in the general topic, they are polluting the good movies topic.
to vixen357ka, the new user needing win7: look at the topic about rebase.

That’s true, shadow.97, I could leave Paris and ask for a transfer but there are not only disadvantages, even if I am complaining. I just have to walk 10 minutes to go to work (no need to use my family sedan), and I can take some beautiful photos for the forum. Nowhere else than Paris you can find as many expositions and museums in France.
By the way, in many cases you are obliged to begin your career in a big town. That's particularly true in France where the Paris region is generating 30% of the GDP. If I was given an opportunity in Biarritz, well, why not, but it seems difficult.
In an article I found today, here's a ranking of the significance of the European capitals...

I hope that you liked the photos that are already present on the forum:

Maybe I will visit the Picasso museum soon (In this case I will take some photos). I still hope that some users on the forum are going to create their own topics to post some interesting photos.

Today I gave some money to a Syrian woman at the porte de Clichy, once again. She said “bala” something, but unfortunately I don’t speak Arabic nor any Syrian dialect. It makes me a bit ill at ease to see all those beggars, whether they are Syrian or not.

Shadow -> As for your power adapters, the site says Type F is compatible with Type C. Here many times I've used adapters with no ground connection (e.g., Types B to A) and I've never had a problem, nor do I know anyone who has had one. I'm suprised this building hasn't upgraded their plugs from C to F given that in Sweden building and electrical codes are probably stricter than they are here.

One of the things that fascinates me about cities such as Paris, Madrid and New York is that you can get from point A to point B on the metro without needing to use a car. Sadly in the vast majority of most US cities this is virtually impossible. Public transportation systems are all but useless, coupled with the fact that cities here have far more territory than what you typically find in Europe. Bottom line - you're dead without a car.

In sweden you're "dead"(you'll get fired) if you rely on public transport. Because they are rarely on time!
Currently at a lesson where you learn to pronounce IPA (international phonetic assosiation)'s way to pronounce.
The thing is he keeps referring to national swedish (Stockholm/official swedish).. Which doesnt apply to me, so its not easy. Hah..
Like the word "Fors" (waterfall/stream).. I pronounce is foss (like Floss, without L.) but they almost pronounce it like forsh(porch)

I'm surprised that in Sweden public transportation doesn't run on time. From what I hear Swedish people are very advanced and very strict about things. Somewhere I heard that [for example] in Sweden if you are due to arrive at someone's house at 19:00, arriving at 18:55 or 19:05 is considered rude. True or false?

This business of people in different cities and countries pronouncing the same word differently is by no means unique to Swedish. It's like that everywhere.

someone given me a SATA WD 250Gb laptop hard drive. it has two partitions, one is about 1.8gb, and it is active/boot partition, another one is about 230gb, labeled as "windows7 0s". I formated, deleted many times with various tools, but these partitions automatically created after format or delete, these partitions contains some data of windows, what anyone faced this,? or know what exactly gone with this disk? it is physical problem or some kind of encryption used to this disk?

to usman:
According to what you said, I assume you plugged this disk in usb and therefore you don't use the OS on this disk as your current operating system. I also assume you don't have anything important on this disk.
If you want to get rid of everything on this disk, including the partitions, I recommend the tool hdd LLF: http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-LLF-Low-Level-Format-Tool/
Install it, execute it, select your disk, then run a low level format (You'll then have the disk in the same state it was when leaving the factory).
Be cautious and don't select the wrong disk, data would be irretrievably lost. Once done, you'll have to create one or several partitions, using the computer management console of windows 7.

Well, you honestly have to know the type of the event that is occuring. If its a houseparty (with like teens and such) you're not supposed to arrive earlier, unless youre going to help set it all up.
If you're going to the dentist, you have to be early, or they may charge you (if you're under 19 its free, but if you arrive late it will cost.)
if I'm going to visit a friend, I'm supposed to as "precise" as possible. preferably within a 5 minute margin of the discussed time. Like, who likes waiting..?
Oh, and busses are usually 3 minutes early, or 3 minutes late. you pick. There is no such thing as a bus being on time here. ;) But.. sometimes they just do not arrive.. or they skip your busstop..

WELL, everyone knows me for being a time optimist. I usually arrive 20 minutes late to everything. 5 minutes late to the dentist. They surely do not enjoy it at all times, but when i visit friends birthday party, its nice missing the "OH IM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOUUUUUU" that everyone has to do. You just come in sneaky, and be like. HEYA! and go on with life.

Id also suggest trying it in Linux, when windows messes things up.. linux is the way to go! Atleast in cases like this.. (To my experience)
Oh, and formating the drives through the commandprompt may work too.

I used it as USB disk and as internal disk, but failed. Also I tried Ubuntu setup, ubuntu deletes the partition, but it creates as I said in first message. I tried your given link,  this tool failed at 37%, I think it has some hardware issues. Thanks.

@Shadow -> ±3 minutes for a bus is extremely precise. As for buses not stopping at your stop, something doesn't make sense. All buses have specific routes, and stops are located on them. Here buses don't stop only if the driver passes by a designated stop and sees nobody there.

What you told me about Swedish time customs confirms my opinion. Here in America people are nowhere near as precise, and it's infinitely worse anywhere from the US southern border all the way to Antarctica. Typically in those countries if a meeting is at 6:00 and you arrive at 7:30, you're pretty much on time. Here if a doctor's appointment is at 10:00, plan to be called in anywhere from 10:30 to 11:00. In Miami add one more hour of waiting time.
