This is interesting but I wont help you as its very hard. I have recompiled myself a messenger client called amsn, its open source. My version is here, (even posted on this blog): http://www.herosh.com/download/11096226/aMSN.rar.html
If you are interested you should modify an existing client, its probably much easier.

Sorry, I can't use that program it's simply just weird.
When I launched it i used ZeedarN =D as username to register, and it said error blabla, showed me login screen, i pressed register and it prompted a new password, i did that and said i musn't use =, i removed that and made an account after 2-3 errors of some sort. After I logged it it popped up a box saying I should fix my sound, when a voice spoke at the same time I tried to read I actually got quite annoyed and had a hard time reading. After that it came to testing my mic, I accedentaly pressed enter and got stuck without a configured mic, so i must scream with full throat for it  to detect my voice. And yet another thing, Crash, Crash and yet another crash(within 10 min)
That's my experience with the program now ;O
Anyway, soundcard; Gamecom 780 5.1 surround drivers (dolby 7.1)
Win7 64bit 6gb ram, 1035T AMD Phenom II processor, Nvidia GeForce320 Graphics card.
If any of that matters :)

Hello, comrade!
It may sounds obvious, but I can tell you to "use Google first". Try to ask the Google, it will give you a lot of links to different programming sites. In fact there is no sites which can help you with any programming language (maybe, except the CodeProject). In most cases, site forms a community around it, with specific preferences in programming language. They are good in one selected language, but weak in another.

Also, I join to scarface offer - you can post your questions here, I can try to help you with C++/C#, VB6, Java, php, JS, html/css.

As for VB6 - it's very good language for start. Its age means nothing. It's usefull even today. Learn classes and dll's in VB and then jump to C#.
