Good job finding it for XP. You don't happen to have it for windows 7 that is tested, would help if my mom could use the shared computer

To shadow.97:I think only w7ultimate and enterprise can use MUI. Youll find a list here: http://www.winkeyfinder.com/windows-7/windows-7-sp1-mui-language-pack.php
Perhaps the specialist Ahmad has a 3rd party application of his own to suggest.

@scarface

Really, I don't have any application for that.
I just found this application for XP in an Arabic site, so I shared it, as I saw many people asking for language packs for XP which do not exist in Microsoft site such as Arabic.

Yes..

The link you posted is working of course:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1231

But there are some missing languages such as Arabic, which exist in this application.

Hi,

Been searching for these XP Language Packs for a while now and happy to finally see them on this site.  My question though is, will they work with Windows x64 SP2?  That's the version I'm using now.

Thanks!

Ken

Hi :)

I didn't try it on XP x64, but I think it will NOT work.
Because, it copies some .DLL files to system drive, and those files are for x86 system.
And from the site where I found this application, it's made for Windows XP SP3 which means x86.

Hi Ahmad,

Thank you for the quick reply!

Any idea where I might find the Language Pack files for Windows XP x64?  I've been searching for them (search engines, torrents, usenet newsgroups) a long time and still no luck.

Ultimately, what I wish to do is take my various ISO's of Windows XP x86 and x64 and create an AIO DVD.  I've never seen an AIO for Windows XP and I think it would be good to have one around for any future needs.

Regards,

Ken

Hi Ken :)

I'm so sorry.
I really don't know about Windows XP x64.
I tried searching for that but Windows XP x64 doesn't have enough support like x86, so all I found is for the x86.

BTW, if your PC can run Windows 7, it's much better, and the x64 version of it has great support.

No worries friend!

I'm already using Win 7 x64 on my notebook and you're right - it is much better.  However, I still have some applications that I need to use which only run on Win XP.  Even changing compatibility mode on Win 7 doesn't help.  So, I'll keep  Win XP around as long as I can.

What apps do you have that require XP? Is this software for a piece of hardware that's no longer being made?

I too have and old laptop and it runs much better on Windows 8 than it ever did for the 3 years it was on Windows 7 before 8 came out.

Hello shinbi :)

I can't do that because it's not my application. I just found it shared. :)

But I found Vietnamese language on Microsoft's site:

And this link for download after validation:

Ahmad of shinbi - just a quick question. The language packs you refer to will convert your entire Windows OS into another language (Vietnamese in this case)?

Is the change reversible? In other words, can you simply switch back to the old language if the need arises?

Yes, dear friend.
I tried the Arabic language pack..
It turned the whole system such as menus, tooltips, messages ..etc into Arabic.
But this is just an addition to the system not a replacement, so you can switch back to English again from Control Panel or from this Language Packs application.

But as you know, I don't understand any software in other than English. :)

My situation exactly! Whenever my sister-in-law in Mexico gives me her laptop to "fix it", it's all in Spanish and I have a very hard time with it. As you already know, Spanish is my first language just like Arabic is yours.

I remember once on the TV news they interviewed someone from over there. In the background there was a monitor with his desktop. It was the first time I saw the start menu and taskbar buttons on the opposite side. :)   Naturally I know this is because Arabic is a right-to-left language.  ;) ;D

To humbert: I only understand a few insults in arabic, and a few sentences with Allah. Not enough to speak with the specialist Maher anyway (im only fluent in french/english). I had hoped ahmad would speak in traditionnal arabic, which is universal, since gujjar is living in a far off, under developed country, and might not understand an egyptian jargon. Probably ahmad would have difficulties to understand a moroccan, the dialects of Pakistan are probably even more différent. In moroccan its salamalikoum, its seem a little different when written by gujjar.
As Maher said i set up viber. Still he didnt call. I know hes doing thousands of kilometers in the désert to work. If he wants he can come to paris. He needs to speak a little french though, and Will have to put aside the 5 prayers a day. Here the most difficult is not finding a job. Its finding an affordable flat. I could have a house in the countryside for what i pay here. But i prefer to live in 10m square and see the eiffel Tower. Plus I cant stand the old bags who have infested the rest of France.
As for ahmad he's probably too egyptian too leave. But he would deserve to live in zamalek or in Garden city, the richest areas of Cairo. This man has the wisdom of the magi.

As for harkaz, i'm afraid his country may know a rapid economic collapse. Today new riots took place in Athens.

I hope humbert has understood the situation in the US. The fed keeps printing dollars because its has become the only buyer of treasury bills, no one, no bank buys American treasury bills, knowing how much the US is indebted. Thats the reason why they wont stop printing money and why the dollars isnt worth anything.

To Scarface:

Some clarification about Arabic.. :)

What usmangujjar wrote was in the standard Arabic (Exact pronunciation) which everyone talks Arabic can understand it. And I replied to him with the same thing.

Any other Arabic jargon like Moroccan or Egyptian is actually the same as the standard Arabic but with a small or large deviation in the pronunciation of some words or phrases.. Like shortcuts in speaking.
However, I can understand Moroccan or any other Arabic jargon very well because they are very relative and I'm Arab in nature, so it's easy for me. But for other people who don't speak Arabic in nature, it may be difficult for them to understand public Arabic jargons, so it's better to speak to them with the standard classical universal Arabic.

BTW, what I mean with the standard Arabic pronunciation is the exact Arabic pronunciation of our Arab ancestors during the days of our prophet (Peace be upon him and all the prophets), and it's the pronunciation which we read the Holy Qur'an with.
So every Muslim Knows about the Qur'an will understand this standard Arabic because it's the exact universal one of all.

The true is I want to see every place in this world and also out of it. But simply, I can't because of - you know - MONEY.
At least, I see what I want in the documentary movies. I feel great when watching them. :D

Ok, i was mislead because formerly a moroccan told me it would be hard for him to understand an egyptian. But in France some of them are more french than arabic. This one was a real moroccan. He didnt have the french nationality, but spoke perfectly french and probably the 'Curan' was not his first concern.
On this forum, I see a lot of courage. Some of You can become prophets. Talk to the others about the economic collapse and tell them they can change, breeding some sheep and leaving their job where most of them dont produce anything. You wont change the society but some people Will think about it. Dont tell people everything Will collapse, theu wont believe You. Tell them some figures about the end of oil and our dependency on this system and they will listen.

Your English is bad?? Are you joking? I wish I could read and write Arabic half as well as you do with English. You should read some posts from many people - their grammar and spelling are horrendous - and their only language is English!

About me. I was born in Cuba but have lived in America most of my life. I moved from Miami (Florida) to San Antonio (Texas) when I was finally able to sell my house and buy a new one here. And yes, humbert is my real name.  :)

If you think your English is bad, you haven't read some post from some people here. They're terrible. With them it's worse because they speak no other language.

OK, I see your situation. You might even have a problem with Windows 7 32 bit, although you might want to check it out. As for language, remember you can install XP or W7-32 in just about any language you want. If you have trouble reading French, I'm sure Scarface will be happy to walk you through the process. Of course I'm assuming you mean Windows (the OS), not the BIOS.

Well, a few years ago I tried to contact Ahmad, to no avail. It seems he vanished. I assume humbert knows the answer of your question, but in case nobody may be able to answer, I advise you to install vmware (v12, it seems v14 has bugs), install xp on it (you need a iso file of xp), and test your pack. Maybe you can also contact harkaz, a user of the forum who is a xp specialist. Im certain he has what youre looking for.

With vmware (or virtualbox), you can start a virtualmachine. It means you can install xp virtually, and test what you want on this machine. The virtual machine does not depend on your current OS, It means that you can start a virtual machine of win 10 on windows xp for example. You just need vmware player (which is free), and an install image of the OS you want to test. Once installed, you'll have to download your langage pack from inside the machine in order to test them. Actually, it means you can make mistake and even crash the system in the virtual machine or whatever you want  (imagine the language packs were crippled by Viruses implemented by Ahmad), there would be no aftermath for your current system.
Here is a tutorial (in French): http://syskb.com/creer-une-machine-virtuelle-avec-vmware-player/
Lately, I released a version of windows 10 RS3 that was made under Vmware (see this post: http://www.nomaher.com/forum/index.php?topic=3350.msg28320#msg28320). If you are wondering if the white-haired creature is me, it's not the case: it's monsieur babouin.

Well, you are very lucky, I kept a copy of Maher's latest version of xp sp3.
Link: https://ufile.io/hz81v
Btw, a few patches were released since this version was built, maybe you can integrate them with nlite.
Or I'll do it. In fact Maher could do it himself and update his link, but he told me once he stopped tinkering with operating systems altogether.
And btw, I'm on vacation till the end of the week, that's why I can reply so easily.

Note: this version is in English. I don't know if you'll still need a language pack.

About VMware, will my pentuim 4 1Gb ram Geforce 7300LE computer handle it??

If you are installing xp, I think it can. You can change the amount of ram dedicated to the virtual machine in the settings. But outside of the vm, don't try to do another "ram-hungry" task.
I have 16gb of Ram on my computer and I can encode a movie while using vmware, but I would not do it otherwise. If you don't have enough ram in the vm, it will display an error message stating that the VM is busy and it will ask you if you want to stop or pause the vm.

With a nickname like that I was thinking you probably come from Switzerland or Canada, since you said French was an official language. But after all, maybe you come from Morocco or Tunisia. For the moment it's a mystery. It reminds me of aa1234779. It took years before I finally knew where he was coming from. But I had fewer clues.

I've been to Tunisia, 25 years ago. It's a beautiful country. I've been to Sousse, you probably know this place. It's undoubtedly the place where I ate the best couscous.
Well, You should speak French fluently, at least all the Tunisians I met over there were speaking French, even if they speak Arabic when they talk between them.
I thought you were Swiss because panzer was the name of the German tanks. Panzers were an essential component of the German army during the Blitzkrieg. So I thought you were speaking German...

Well I'm living in Sousse , wow do you really like it!!!? I also love eating couscous, I eat it 3 or 4 times per week, et bien sur je sais parler Français, bienvenue mon frère!!! My origins are from Kairouan do you know it, it is not too far from sousse you should try other meals like makroudh, kaftaji or LabLabi: They're awesome
i called myself Panzer because i really like it as a nickname I was known as Panzer24 in VCMP then I prefered Panzer24 with caps, they know me in a multiplayer game like that, since you're a well aged man I don't think that you're playing video games!!!

You said you're 12, but it appears you talk with the wisdom of the old lion.
Actually, I chose this nickname years ago, like you (I was using it on p2p networks in 2003). And I kept it. The movie is indeed an interesting story, and the soundtrack is awesome. What's more I've been to Miami too, before it was flooded, in 2000.
But I would not say the movie is violent. As a matter of fact, I would almost say you should take the leader of the movie as a "model".

Well, Your daddy let you watch weird movies. I used to watch weird things too, in the 1990's but not with my father.
Humbert probably remembers Silk Stalkings (les dessous de Palm Beach in French).

You're 12, you already speak French, Arabic, English, and you speak like a caliph. I think you should come here with aa1234779. I'm sure you would be talented enough to find a job. I only need a more spacious flat, but for that I rely on humbert. Today, I went to the avenue Foch (to go to Porte Dauphine and then take the ringroad), and there are beautiful buildings over there. If humbert and Maher are buying a 1000 sq meters flat, we'll be able to make parties every night with the users of the forum who would come.
Btw, I played this game at this time. But why are you playing such an old game? I mean there are more recent versions of GTA. Maybe the configuration of your computer is a serious limit for recent games anyway.

Scarface: I'm surprised it amazes you that Panzer speaks 3 languages. Just about every European speaks a minimum of 3. What do you speak other than French and English?

Never confuse chronological age with wisdom. There are many wise people under the age of 15 and also many UNwise people aged 50 and higher. Degrees of wisdom must be looked at individually.

Running a virtual machine with only 1 GB of ram will not be an easy thing to do. Did you manage to pull it off?

After few years, I'll learn deutsh: I'll be able to speak Frensh, English, Arabic(ofcourse i do) and deutsh ;D ;D ;D Das is it klar? :P
About my shitty computer since I formatted it few times I expected that it'll work as cool as snow(trying to do not download heavy new apps wich could break it) and it really worked but...my father told me that my games are the only reason that made the computer laggs, I tried to explain to him that a few games made back to 2003 and 1998(Half-Life) won't do anything, He didn't want to listen to me and managed to download avast(latest version), it couldn't run in my computer but worse!!! it did corrupt the hardware and make it so slowww...(I know my father isn't an advanced user so i don't blame him) everytime I say to him that he was the cause of that corruption he shout at me, and still, saying that those games are the only reason so I told him to upgrade it(increasing the RAM and changing the CPU...) He refused without any hesitation, I gave up and I didn't talk about it anymore, Fortunately, I got a notebook ASUS X200MA with 2gb ram Intel celeron N2840 2.16GHz, 2.16 GHz and intel HD graphics, it is not a perfect computer since its battery is dead within a year but it is ok as a work computer!!!

As you know, learning a language is heavily dependent on how much you get to practice it. Arabic is your first language and the primary one in Tunisia. French is second due to so many years of French occupation. How about English and now German. Do you manage to practice those languages too?

Believe me I know how that feels! My father was like that too. When I try to explain something, to him I was nothing more than a little kid standing up to parental authority. NEVER did he listen to me. I had to go so far as to talk to other people to explain things to my father, he listened more to them than to me. In any case, be confident in that you're an intelligent man who knows what he's doing, and your father is mistaken.

Panzer -> You come off as a brilliant man. Those people who criticize you are ignorant. They probably have no clue as to what you're up to. They're to dumb to see what kind of guy you really are. Absolutely never pay attention to them. Continue what you're doing and if they don't like it, that's THEIR problem, not yours. You don't need their approval.

Yes , you're right and thanks so much!!!Well you all guys know that when recording a game it will make fps drops and lagg
but when not recording it works fine!!!I was wondering if there's a good recorder wich it doesn't make the game lagg as stated above, I mean that doesn't need a great CPU to get 60 FPS??

Next week I will put a lot of things in the archive section. The deleted topics can only be viewed by moderators, and some users like Usman already complained I was deleting their messages. That's why I want to take precautions. I have not deleted messages so far this year. And I guess the new users who don't know the forum are probably getting lost.

Its not better for the forum, which is already died to restrict or warn people for every posts.
I dont know why some of us want to see everything as they like even which does not related them.
Unneccessary deletion, moving or advices will led the forum to a place where only few moderator and newbies will be, almost all old members already left forum or they dont post anything.

We're not done with those fake passport bots. I just removed another post and alerted Maher. I was under the impression Maher banned the creation of new accounts. I'm thinking these bot accounts were created prior to Maher changing the policy.
