I watch some french comics, they always have uncommon, but very stylish manner of drawing.

Some years ago I liked comics on apocalyptic/post-nuke/madmax thematics.
Here is some examples:

http://www.postnukecomic.com/
This one is "Ъ", "serious" and dark comics, bad future, without any light. Nuclear winter, bandits, and so on.

http://romanticallyapocalyptic.com/0
This is other apocalyptic comics, made in Russia. It depicts another attitude, it is more satirical than serious comics. But it's very nice.

There aren’t many comics in this section, even if we have to thank Fuj and Daniil for their contribution.
Those who have been here for a long time probably remember the comics of Druuna or some hentaï that I had uploaded, but they were removed, probably it was too much eroticism for the forum.

Today, I’m trying to beef up a little the content of this topic with the adventures of Tintin that you can read online by following this link (I chose a direct link to the cigars of the pharaoh).
https://www.otakusmash.com/read-comics/The_Adventures_of_Tintin/004/1/

The Adventures of Tintin is a series of 24 comic albums created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé. The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007, a century after Hergé's birth in 1907,Tintin had been published in more than 70 languages with sales of more than 200 million copies.

Here is another good comic, titled Worlds of Aldebaran.
The Worlds of Aldebaran is a French science-fiction comic series written and illustrated by Léo. The Aldebaran saga is divided into 3 cycles: Aldebaran and its sequels Betelgeuse and Antares. Each cycle is composed of some five albums, and each corresponds to a different planet. Although it is possible to read the cycles separately, they are chronological to form a coherent whole. Each cycle (and thus planet) introduces new secondary characters, although the central heroes of the story remain constant.

In the games topic, we have seen that Vasudev and humbert were huge fans of the Dishonored series. That's why I'm suggesting Dishonored: The Wyrmwood Deceit, a four-issue comics series.
It was written by Gordon Rennie and illustrated by Andrea Olimpieri and Marcelo Maiolo, published in late 2016 by Titan Comics in collaboration with Bethesda Softworks.
The story is set in Dunwall, two years prior to Dishonored 2, and revolves around the Royal Protector and Spymaster Corvo Attano and City Watch Officer Martha Cottings tangled in a conspiracy involving Dunwall's criminal underworld.

Today, a new graphic novel series, titled "Si seulement" (If only), and released in 2011, is available on the forum.

Note that if you are looking for a comic reading application, you can find something here: https://www.nomaher.com/forum/index.php?topic=1021.msg8128#msg8128

Storyline: Several times, Joe Horton's life almost turned upside down. Today, he goes to meet each of his destinies. Joe Horton is a prominent writer. However, several times his fate has failed to switch for the good or the bad side. At 17, if he hadn't been attacked by a dog, he would have joined the Vanguards, a group whose dazzling success would have probably propelled him to rock star rank. And if he hadn't become a writer after serious youthful mistakes, like the day he set fire to an irascible neighbor's building, he probably would have ended up being a thug. Today, in the basement of the ancient house he has just acquired, Joe Horton will be confronted with his destiny, or rather his destinies. In front of him, five doors leading to as many parallel lives. What if our good fortune was hanging by a thread.

Tonight, another graphic novel, titled Stranger Things: SIX, and released in 2019, is available on the forum.

Storyline: Francine, a teenage girl with precognition, has struggled through a lifetime of exploitation: first by her parents, then by Dr. Brenner of Hawkins Laboratory. Dr. Brenner wants to harness her powers as well as those of the other gifted children that they hold captive at the lab. Wracked by increasingly disturbing visions, she sees an opportunity for her and all the children to escape. But at what cost?

Today, I'm going to suggest a good short story, titled Il colombre ("Le K" in French), which is part of a 1966 short story collection by the Italian writer Dino Buzzati. The titular story introduces a sea monster called the colomber, which became the most famous of Buzzati's monster characters. I guess that shadow.97 or aa1234779 have already read this short story.

Tonight, I'm going to suggest reading a good comic book, titled "Purgatoire" (purgatory).
The comic book is in French. I hope it won't be a problem for Vasudev, usman or humbert.

Story: To come out of purgatory, a dead young man must bring a living person back to the right path. This is the complete edition of a brilliant trilogy in every way.

Tonight, another good comic is available on the forum, titled Clinton Road and released in January 2020.
Unfortunately it is in French but I hope humbert and Maher, and the users who are fluent in French, will be able to read it.

Link: https://mega.nz/file/9Ns1DDjJ#y7T8xjlWyzCMtnbqAYw0aIdMs_td30S9GMGC0afHGO0

The story:
New Jersey, 1978. Every morning, John, a highway patrolman in Passaic County, leaves home and drives to his friend Sam's bar to drink (bad) coffee and chat before starting his work day. Nothing strange about that so far… Except that Clinton Road – 10 miles of asphalt that John patrols every day – happens to be America's most haunted road, with disturbing disappearances, paranormal phenomena, and more. This cursed road is also where his only son, Benjamin, was last seen before he disappeared. Unable to get over his grief, John takes refuge in a twisted reality where his fantasies seem more powerful than reality…

Today, a new comic book series is available on the forum, titled Antares. It is composed of 6 albums.
This is the sequel of Aldebaran and Betelgeuse (and known as the 3rd cycle of the series). You can find the first two cycles in this topic here: https://www.nomaher.com/forum/index.php?topic=1804.msg29694#msg29694

The story of Antares:
After the failure of the Betelgeuse colonisation mission, Kim is back on Earth, where she is an increasingly popular figure. Meanwhile, advance scouts on planet Antares have witnessed some distressingly strange events. Worried about the future of this new mission, the sponsors of the Antares project call upon Kim to accompany the first colonists, offering legal amnesty for Alexa and Mark in exchange. It’s the beginning of a new adventure for the young woman and her friends.

Tonight, I'm going to talk about an excellent comic series titled "Thorgal"
Thorgal is a Belgian fantasy comic book series by the Belgian writer Jean Van Hamme and the Polish graphic artist Grzegorz Rosiński. It combines several themes and legends, ranging from Norse mythology and Atlantean fantasy to science fiction, and such genres as dark drama, horror and adventure stories.

For me, this is one of the best comic series (I have all the books, in French, but the series is not finished).
These comics were translated in English and I am wondering if you would be interested in this series.
If you have some comics of Thorgal in English, feel free to put them in this topic anyway.

Tonight, a new comic series, titled Phoenix, is available on the forum (in French).
This is a dynamic story with many mysteries, the clues are delivered in homeopathic doses so that the riddle remains well-preserved at the end of the first 2 volumes without altering the interest of reading.
For those who are able to read it, it is a fantastic story that I hope will keep all its promises (I didn't read the last book). The drawing made by Frédéric Peynet and Delphine Rieu is bright, clear and precise.
