Title: Hi there, new member. XP install question
Post by: madamo on April 09, 2012, 07:13 AM
Hello everyone. I am trying to install Mahers XP SP3 on a computer. It will not recognize the CD's I create as bootable cds (I expect to see the press any key to continue prompt). The prompt just blinks there indefinitely.

I have tried burning with PowerIso, and Nero, creating the CD as an ISO image in both programs. I can use an older xp installation CD on this comp, which will then give me the continue prompt. Is there something I am missing here?

Hello madamo 8)
You just need to download Maher's iso 100% and keep it seeding for a while.
Don't forget to check the hash, OR you might be downloading some other SPAM up-loaders XP
Then you can use any burner to burn the iso image.
Burn at the lowest speed possible [2x OR 4x]

Set your bios to primarily boot from the DVD ROM.
Do a clean install, Upgrade is not always recommended.
If you follow these instructions, no problem can stop you.

Have a Good Day buddy. :) :)
