I was ready to give 50 or 100$ to maher. Since he doesnt answer, he probably doesnt care. Or he has left palestine to go on vacation. I was worrying but perhaps he's luckier than me after all. Im a slave and Im going to work in August. Well if ever he decided to come to Paris between a journey in Milano and London I would be glad to discuss with him of course. As for the topic survive the economic collapse, I know its really depressing, you are probably the last person still answering, (Ahmad and the others are kaput), you are probably right its useless to continue posting on it, after all we can't do anything, individually, or perhaps change our life, but we wont change what the others do.

@Scarface - shouldn't you be sleeping? My world clock says it's 23:30 over there.  :)   As for Maher, certainly nobody is hurrying you, all I wanted was to be sure you had the right information.

I personally know people who refuse to even watch the news -- all they watch is sports and weather. Just like you said, what's the point of antagonizing yourself over something you have no control over?

Im just a working poor in fact. Despite my studies, once the bills paid there is nothing left. Sometimes I think I should have done something else, But probably I wouldn't want to be in the situation of maher either (I coulnt do ramadan if I were muslim Im not courageous enough, in fact lately I put on weight, probably drinking too much beer and eating too many pizzas - tonight the couscous didnt last long. Perhaps Im going to finish up like Elvis but without fame, who knows)

By the way I discovered they dont have the same price for the cheeseburgers everywhere: franchised mcdo are more expensive. Then If you want to have a cheap cheeseburger at 1euro go to the mcdo of republic or opera they are not franchised.

@Scarface - with what program did you draw the black cross? I don't know anything about photoediting and I'm wondering what simple program to use to do what you did.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by `franchised' mcdo's. At least here you can't just open a hamburger place and call it `McDonalds', you have to buy a franchise and go by their rules, i.e. , they're all franchised.

A cheeseburger for 1â,¬ is an awesome price. Do they also charge for rental space if you want to eat your burger there?

you seem to know what franchise mean. Here some mcdo are not franchised, the owner is mcdonald (only a few). No they dont charge if you eat on the spot.

I don't remember if that McDonalds told me the food would be more costly if it wasn't take out, but I do remember being told something and looking out onto the Champ Elysses and wondering how to eat a hamburger in the middle of that sidewalk with no place to even sit down. To me this was highly unusual since nowhere before did I ever encounter such a situation.

In sweden I think you have to pay a little more tax(MOMS in sweden) if you don't take the food  with you, maybe it's the oposite. Can't remember.

We all appreciate that you're being consciencious and want to help. Sadly sites like the one you recommend have become the scourge of the internet. All you see is ads, ads, ads and more ads. In order to get online today, be sure your browser is protected with Adblock Plus, Ghostery, Browser Protect and Self Destructive Cookies - at the very least.

I have been thinking of a small Christmas present for Maher. Unfortunately I dont know where to send it. I could send it to the French Consulate in Jerusalem, but probably its not the best solution. Perhaps a gas station could be an intermediary?

This is easier than you think. I've sent him packages myself, usually through the US post office, to an address he gives me. I'm going to contact him and ask his permission to forward the same information to you. I'm 99% sure there'll be no problem but let me ask anyway, after all 99% ≠ 100%.  :)

I'd advise not to send it to Jerusalem because it may not be easy for him to go there. And of course, don't even dream of using a consular official, believe me you'll get nowhere.

@Humbert-> You know, students graduated from IITs are most sought after by MNCs and  have huge payscale(In Crores perhaps).

I agree ITT engineering students in India are highly coveted. Since they get paid next to nothing by world standards, all these companies outsource to India.

Neither did I. I'm pretty sure Maher didn't do it either, he's been busy. Assuming he didn't, then maybe the forum is self-cleaning, i.e., deletes the deleted stuff automatically after some time to save on space.

Ok I pretty new around these boards so I am not to sure if this is the right section to post this in...however I am looking for anyone to knows how to make a tape dummy to make one of myself. I getting a custom fursuit done for myself however I don't have the slightest clue how to make one let alone all the stuff I ll will need. If anyone has experience on making these and would be willing to help me I will be able to pay them a bit of compensationprobably 20.

Invory was asking for help on a tape dummy. I inquired what he meant by this. With respect to a donation, he or anyone else should leave Maher a PM and make the arrangements. Just let me know he and I'll promptly send Maher a Whatsapp message so he can do the rest. As you know, Maher is so busy he barely has the time to log in. And yet he continues to pay for hosting and maintaining the forum. That's why we moderate.

I think best resource is youtube if you plan on diy.

I dont think many of us, if any have experiences with fursuits.
Furaffinity or etsy would probably be the best bet to find people who know what they're doing. Then reach out over twitter or something to them if there's specific questions.

There's also cons you can go to, find a furry and ask them in person. In my experience all nerd/anime-like events have furries.
