Have you noticed these infectious diseases are like fads that come and go? First came HIV, then Ebola, swine flu and now coronavirus. They come, they go - mostly because scientists finds ways of dealing with them. I'm willing to be borrowed money few people will remember coronavirus 18 months from now, if not less.

As is always the case, mass hysteria fuels the news. This virus originated in Wuhan, and yet despite this countries are screening flights from ALL of China. It seems these people believe China is probably the size of Luxembourg, if not smaller. It reminds me of a story I read when the Ebola fad was in. A Dallas schoolteacher wanted to visit his family in Zambia. He was warned by the school board that if he made the trip he wouldn't be allowed back in to teach. As you'll recall, Ebola targeted mostly Guinea and Sierra Leone. According to Google maps, Zambia is about 5500km from Guinea. It seems these educators never studied geography.
