One of my favorite artists is Mike Shinoda, one of the pieces in Linkin Park.

Ironically the song I'm listening to as I was reading your post is:

I didn't think you would listen to Linkin Park. It's already a bit old. Hybrid theory was released in 2001.
For me it was like the good old days.

Why 50% of Canadians are living south of this line? Is it because they are living in Texas? You will find the answer in this video.

This young girl visited Texas and found out it was much cheaper to live there than in the Golden State. She suddenly realized that homes are too expensive in California. The home she bought in Palm Spring, located between Los Angeles and Salton sea, cost 1million dollars. It’s a tidy sum for a house located practically in a desert.
This young heiress already regrets not to have bought a mansion in Texas instead.

What a ride!! Imagine that flight attendant flying through the air like Superman. What a view!

Seriously, I've flown on planes many times and I've NEVER had a problem. Probably the worst experience was a panic attack during a night flight in Colombia. I kept seeing lightning strikes, and from their light I saw many mountains. I panicked because I thought the plane was going to slam into a mountain. Since I'm still here it's safe to assume that didn't happen.

My father did have a pretty bad scare once. His flight took off and hit roughly 10,000m as usual, all normal. Then suddenly he can't breathe. He looks to the side and notices another passenger is bleeding heavily from the ears. Then yellow masks drop. They don't work, there is NO OXYGEN. Suddenly the plane begins to descend at full speed as if headed for a crash landing in the middle of the Caribbean. He believed that was it, his life is over. But NO. The plane levels off at about 3,000m and breathing again becomes possible. Slowly but surely it manages to return to the airport it originated. Later he asked the pilot and was told there was a TOTAL oxygen failure - very rare but obviously not impossible.

Despite the fact that Canada is a huge country (only Russia is larger), the majority of Canada's population lives in a oval that beings in Windsor at the border with Detroit and extends northeast to Quebec City. You can easily see it on Google maps. With respect to Texas I'd have to agree. Properties are much cheaper here than in the rest of the country. I've often said that I sold my property in Miami for $139,000 and bought my house for $110,000. This despite the fact that the total size of the properties were 320 m² and about 700 m² respectively. Why anyone would pay that much to live in Miami is beyond my comprehension.

Here is an excellent documentary about the attack of 20 July 1944 against Hitler.
Several attempts were made on Hitler’s life, including one that came close to succeeding in July 1944, when Col. Claus von Stauffenberg planted a bomb that exploded during a conference at Hitler’s headquarters in East Prussia. Eva Braun learnt about the tragic event during a phone call, but she was reassured: the Fuhrer was alive. Hitler took it as a “hint from the Providence” and thanked the “Creator” to have preserved him. Over the following weeks, Himmler's Gestapo, driven by a furious Hitler, rounded up nearly everyone who had the remotest connection with the plot. The discovery of letters and diaries in the homes and offices of those arrested revealed the plots of 1938, 1939, and 1943, and this led to further rounds of arrests, including that of colonel general Franz Halder, who finished the war in a concentration camp. Under Himmler's new Sippenhaft (blood guilt) laws, many relatives of the principal plotters were also arrested in the immediate aftermath of the failed plot. More than 7,000 people were arrested and 4,980 were executed.

If you took a look at some details of what happened you'd think Hitler was indeed protected by Divine Providence.

Let's take the Valkyrie attempt, i.e., the one mentioned above. Due to the deteriorating military situation, Hitler was spending much of his time in a bunker 15 meters below ground with walls that were several meters thick. The bunker was located in a cool forest not far from the Baltic. He schedules a meeting on July 20, 1944 at the bunker, and it is there where von Stauffenberg and his allies planned to carry out the assassination attempt with a briefcase carrying a time bomb. The day arrives, but it is unusually warm. Hitler is [physically] hot and at the last minute changes the location of the meeting to a house not far from the bunker. They arrive and open the windows for ventilation. Everything goes as planned and the briefcase explodes. The force of the blast escapes through the open windows and weak walls. Hitler is injured but survives. If the weather had been more seasonal and the meeting were held at the bunker as planned, there is no way ANYONE would have survived. In the heavily shielded bunker the force of the explosion has nowhere to go and would have simply bounced off the thick walls, killing Hitler and everyone else. The weather saves Hitler's life.

Wait! It gets better. The meeting room in the house had a large heavy oak table where all the maps and other paperwork was located. The table had no legs, it was supported by 2 thick oak walls on both sides. Von Stauffenberg puts the briefcase as close to Hitler as possible, then leaves as planned. Shortly thereafter someone accidentally kicks the briefcase. What does he do? He takes the briefcase and puts behind one of the 2 thick walls such that the wall is now between Hitler and the briefcase. This was critical is his not being killed since the wall absorbed the bulk of the blast.

Another example. The Führer wrote in Mein Kamph that in meetings he would be the last one to arrive and the first to leave. This is one reason he had a private plane, the Nazi equivalent of America's Air Force One. Hitler is scheduled to speak at a Nazi rally in [I believe] Nuremberg. Would-be assassins plant a time bomb close the the podium where Hitler will speak, timed to explode during the speech. Once Hitler arrives he is warned there is a storm on the way and it is very unsafe to fly back to Berlin. Hitler hates the delay but finally agrees to go home on his train. During the trip to the rally the Führer, pressed for time, decides his speech is too long and must be condensed. For this reason, the bomb exploded 12 minutes after Hitler finishes he new condensed speech. Again the weather saves his life.

Divine Providence?? Maybe. He ended up killing himself, every other attempt failed.
