Why Speed Limits Are Wrong In The U.S.

The only way to eliminate traffic fatalities is to eliminate the use of cars. This country imposed a speed limit of 90 kms on the highways from 1973 to somewhere in the mid 1990's and it didn't work. The trucking industry was furious because for them, time is money. People started getting CB radios and talking to each other to report where police and speed traps were located. People did what they always do: they find a way to beat the system. Who knows, maybe one day we'll have self-driving cars that communicate with one another. When this is perfected it's expected to dramatically reduce traffic fatalities. I only hope I live to see it.

Bombproof, bulletproof and no top. Very nice.

The people at Mercedes should have told that fatass Göring to lose weight. It's a much easier solution that redesigning the car's passenger compartment. Shouldn't a custom made, expensive car like this have some sort of mechanism so you can move the seat back and forth?

This mechanism probably didn't exist yet. Apparently the length of the steering wheel could not be modified either. That's why the thickness of the driver's seat cushion was reduced by four inches.

They're Jews. Are you suprised?

Then they are not dogs. Note that the term Jew only has geographical implications: The jews are the descendants of the Hebrew patriarch Jacob. They are the natives or inhabitants of Israel. But it doesn't necessarily imply that they practice the Jewish religion. Some of them are certainly Christian, Buddhist or even Muslim, even if it's probably not common.
The fact that Tel Aviv is ranked as the most expensive town is a bit surprising indeed since the media used to talk about the high cost of well-known places like Los Angeles, Geneva or London but not Tel Aviv.

I was, of course, being facetious :)  We're all familiar with the stereotype.

The question "who is a Jew" has been asked since time immemorial and in all this time there is no clear-cut answer. As far as I know only 2 countries have had "who is a Jew" laws - Nazi Germany and Israel. I'm not aware of the details but I'd say they're not exactly alike. Is Judaism a religion or a "nationality" (for lack of a better word)? Different versions of Judaism have different answers. Reform Jews accept converts, Orthodox Jews don't. Was Karl Marx a Jew despite his hatred for organized religion who he called "opium of the people"? What about the belief that you're a Jew because your mother was? It's virtually impossible to trace your maternal lineage back 2000 years and absolutely ALL these women were Jewish. All that's required is one break in the chain to disqualify you. In the story of Genesis, were Adam and Eve Jews? Since we're all Eve's descendants, then either we're all Jews or we aren't. I'm thinking the answer to this question will depend on the beliefs of those who want an answer that's convenient to them.

Here are the most dangerous mushrooms in the world.
On the photo you can see a fly agaric (known as “amanite tue-mouches" in French). It is not among the mushrooms in the video. If it is probably the most iconic toadstool species, it is normally not lethal even if it has psychoactive and hallucinogenic properties.
