scarface . i appreciate your help and quick response. i dont believe any of these articles will help. I tried all of them. IT appears to be something removed from the original ISO that is messing this up.

I would like to use the program "Terminals" for remote desktop and it relies on the built in Remote Desktop functionality. :(

Ok then. perhaps ask maher for these missing files...
looking at the size of the iso there shouldnt be a lot of files missing.

should I reach out to him directly? I'm scared his sig says not to contact him for support? scarface is there any way you can possibly reach out to him to see if he can offer any assistance?

I appreciate all your help!

Thanks

I dont know.
For me you should first try to replace all missing files with an official iso.

Official ISO in Drive, ran SFCScanNow. Verified all files. Had no Effect.

:(

Looks like this is unfixable without MAhers professional help

To aliencds: I could make it work under system32 in win7, but I dont really know why I had the lang name error. I also activated the RDP services. make sur you really have mstsc.exe.mui in the en_us folder.
my 32 bits mstsc: http://speedy.sh/DWreQ/mstsc.rar

The files are there for sure. I even tried dumping your files from windows 7 into my directory. Same error.

I even tried this on a fresh install of Maherz. Same problem. Something must be removed from the ISO that is causing this problem :(

Hi!

I downloaded Windows XP Professional SP3 (x86) Integrated November 2012 by Maher, and burned it using PowerISO at 10X speed.

Now here is my problem/question.

I was trying to do a repair install using the actual microsoft xp professional SP3 that came with the computer, because I wanted to keep all my files/programs. During this process I received about 30 notifications of copy errors! (I browsed the web and it said its probably due to the scratched CD, hence why i'm here trying this out) but pulled through the repair install to see if it will work because I needed to get to a program on the computer soon. Now what happens is whenever I turn my computer on, it goes to the welcome screen before the desktop pops up, then it seems as if the deskstop is about to pop up but nothing happens and it just hangs there. Now I'm desperate and I really need to get to this program because it's for work, I don't care about anything else on the comp except the program.

Now my question, With this burned copy, will I be able to perform a successful microsoft xp repair install so I can reach the program? I'm not super tech savvy, so if this doesn't work should I just take it to a computer tech to try to figure this one out??
Thanks for your help!!
