salam maher.
i have downloaded xp professional integrated july + SATA drivers version.
please answer me on these questions..
1. how to burn the downloaded file to a CD
2. Is it needed to format all partition of hard disk while installing this XP or chance of lose of  data of HD
3. how to check that my computer will support SATA driver version

please help me

1. look it up on google, iso burner and you will find plenty of softwares.
2. you dont need to format all partitions, just the one you will install it on.
3. look in your motherboard, this is how it looks like...


sometimes your computer might not have the port but whether your computer supports sata .. you can look it up in your bios. You just look it up in your bios.

I already have windows xp installed on a dual boot with ubuntu, but i want to install your version of xp. Would it be okay if i just installed it over the last installation or should i make a fresh installation. I could do trial and error but don't want to waste my time.. thats all

hey salam man,

if i download this (windows xp august 2011) on to a usb, can I just plug it into my laptop and clean boot it, like from boot from cd, except using a usb?

I need to do this because my laptop has a virus and i want to completely wipe my hard drive and boot windows xp?

Also if i can do this, do i just put the file on the usb and just plug it in or do i need to do some other things.

You can install it from a USB, but you have to use a special tool to do so.
Search Google for win2flash.

mr. maher what is the diff.. between integrated and corporate?

Integrated means updates added.
Don't know really the difference between it and corporate as I've never tried corporate.

You know, for some reason for almost all versions of Windows I've installed, even if you tell the software to create a single NTFS partition encompassing 100% of the drive's capacity, for some reason when you check it after that's done, there's an 8gb partition on the drive left over. Any ideas what this is about?
