I installed this on my netbook that has built in wifi, but it won't detect my built in wifi... and I can't boot back my windows 7 preinstalled. I put the windows xp on a partitioned drive so my windows 7 is still on my main drive... I'm using my iPod touch to type this up on this forum... I had a program installed loaded up on my main drive that was suppose to restore my windows 7 boot and could dual mode the 2 os's but it gives me an error after I installed it on windows xp. With no Internet and no acsess to windows 7 I can't do anything besides stare at the windows xp screen without a proper wifi driver...

You can't boot back into Windows 7 and can't get on WiFi with XP, eh? In order to get you back on the net, have you tried as a temporary solution using a long cable and going wired? You might have a driver problem. Did you check Device Manager on XP to see if your WiFi adapter is recognized by XP?

I'm beginning to think if all else fails, get yourself a copy of Win 7 and Daz Loader (or my favorite, w7lxe.exe), and reformat. It's real pain, I know, I have to do it several times, but there was no other solution. This is, of course assuming your temporary wired connection works -- if not maybe a friend can download it for you.

I'm getting the "setup can not find any hard drives" error while using a SATA drive.  My motherboard is a tforce 6100-939.  I don't suppose you know if the sata controllers for that board made it into the july release, or are new to the august release?  I'm kinda at my wits end at this point
SATA drivers are updated.
You should be able to install Windows now.
Anyhow, I recommend you wait for September release, I will do more updates to the SATA drivers.
Good luck.

If you're stuck on XP, you gotta keep in mind that there were no sata drives when that OS was originally written, so the installation program can't pick them up. It does, however, give you an opportunity to stick in a disk with drivers for anything XP knows nothing about. I believe this is what's causing your problem. Notice that XP doesn't even have drivers for USB 2.0 until service pack 2 was released -- I'm not sure if sata drivers were added later separately or as part of service pack 3. I'm certain that the version Maher uploaded will work with sata, but the installation program is a separate deal altogether. Maher you uploaded this version, please correct me if I'm wrong and if I'm right, can you provide the sata drivers for the installation program?
I add SATA drivers to avoid sticking a disk with the drivers.
Which means, they are added to make Windows XP install on every new machine.
But the problem is I can't add ALL the SATA drivers. And every few weeks a new driver shows up or is updated, so people have to wait for next relese to be able to install Windows if they are not able to with current release.

To locate your Wi-Fi driver for Windows XP, you have to use a drivers software such as Driver Pack Solution: http://drp.su
Regarding dual booting XP and 7, look here:
dual boot windows 7 and xp

Hello!
My question pertains to the August update of XP. I'm running OS X Lion on my (fairly new) mac, and I require to run windows for a few specific needs. I didn't want to have to bootcamp all the time, so I bought Parallels 6.
The problem I'm having: I downloaded your "Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3 Integrated August 2011" torrent and tried to run a VM with it through Parallels, but it keeps asking me for a product key. I know you said on TPB that the key is already inserted, so am I doing something wrong? (note: Parallels asks me initially when I'm setting up the VM if the copy of Windows requires a product key and I say no. But later, while finalizing installation, Windows brings up the product key screen and won't let me progress past it).

Many thanks!

You know, one thing I like about computing is that any time you turn the machine on and log onto the net, you learn something. I didn't have a clue this site or this software existed. I've been using Slimdrivers up to now, which by experience gave me the best (or least worst) results and the fewest false positives. I looked at the link you put and was truly surprised that such a thing even existed.
