Windows XP Support

i am using a laptop that previously had windows 7 on it... gotta new hard drive (sata) and installed your windows XP on the drive, everything is perfect except the drivers... they dont work: sound, networks internet, video etc

I know theres that issue with sata drives and installing xp on them but your torrent said something about "sata drives included or something" so why wont it work or am i being stupid :-P

while windows include many of the drivers, you should download updated drivers for your hardware from your sound, graphics or network card vendors website and install those.

As for your sata drives, have a look in your disk management under administrative tools in control panel and see if your sata drives are connected. I had the same issue and i just needed to give it a drive letter.. thats all..

I downloaded your SP3 July 2011, and I am very new at this, what do I have to do exactly? Burn it to a cd, then install it from that cd? How do I go about using this to do a factory reset on my Toshiba?

You use an iso to cd burner software to burn the image to a cd, then just boot up your laptop from CD and make sure your disk is inserted into your disk drive. The rest is pretty simple. You don't even need the cd key and just follow the steps.

there is no password, or a rar file. It's just an image file "iso".

You don't need a key for it.

You need to install drivers for your hardware.
You can download them from the manufacturers website, or you can get a driver detection software like Driver Pack Solution http://drp.su

You don't do a factory reset, but you can install new Windows.
Just burn it into a CD and insert it into your CD ROM and restart your PC.
Setup should start.
Don't forget to backup your files and drivers.
