Try using another software to burn the ISO.
And read on Google how to correctly burn ISO into a CD.
Good luck.

Hello there i'd like to kindly ask for some assistance,

i'm trying to install your September version and i keep getting the ''setup didn't find any disks installed''.
Description of your torrent on pirate bay says it's got sata drivers included. Does this mean i don't need to do the f6 or slipstreaming procedure ?

I've tried the following procedures with no success:

1. just your cd: when it loads everything(i can see the setup goes through a lot of SiS sata drivers ,so i presume the drivers should be there for the mobo to detect my hdd) it says it didn't find any disks installed.

2. f6 procedure with floppy: a list of 2 drivers pops up when i press S, win xp Sis raid/ide controller and win2000 Sis raid/ide controller, i select win xp  hit enter and after it goes through all the startup phase it again doesn't detect any disks.
p.s.: I went to check the manual and i'm using the right driver and the list of drivers that shows up is correct. And i'm using the same driver for slipstreaming so that one must be correct also.

3. slipstreaming: ends in the same manner- no disk detected.

My mobo: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_overview.aspx?ID=en-us0000076
The driver i used(there are 2 under ''raid drivers'' on the mobo's page, i used the sis raid driver): http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx?models=en-us0000076&category=C000000001&series=en-us0000003&keywords=&sort=Drivers
hdd:  wd800

Do you know of any solutions for my problem or ideas what could be causing this error ?
Can it be hardware problems like sata conector, sata cable, hdd itself, ram ?

Some more info about my system:
I have xp pro sp3 installed, but it is damaged : i can't copy/paste files, can't open help, can't run services, can't scan for viruses, can't burn cds/dvds, can't copy files to usb disk, getting ''RPC not available'' error, it's unusable so i'm trying to do a new install, since my current windows seems to be unrepairable...

Thanks for your help,
Jano

Try searching for something like AHCI Mode in your BIOS.
If you find it change it into "Compatible" or "IDE Mode".
Good luck.

Hi there. Thanks for replying.

I don't have these options.. I've seen them on the net being proposed, but i just don't have these options.

All i can set in BIOS regarding SATA is the following:

SATA CONTROLLER (disable, enable)- i have it set to enabled
SATA MODE ( ide, raid)- i have it set to ide

Have you got any other ideas, what can be done in my case ?

On some other site i was said to run a diagnostics for my HDD to check for errors...I'll try that and will return with updates..

Thanks.
