I'm using PowerISO and while burning like you said and when verifying it gets to 69% then says:

D:

The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

? Abort - Retry(Doesn't work still) - Ignore ?

I'm assuming you used a clean disk when you attempted the burn, right? If you used a CD-RW, did you do a full erase first?

You might want to take a good look at BurnAware Pro as your CD/DVD burning software. It's simple, straight forward and gets the job done. It also allows for all kinds of different burning scenarios as opposed to PowerIso which, unless I'm mistaken, burns only ISO's and not individual files (someone correct me if I'm wrong). BurnAware is available on almost all the torrent sites.

Try using any other software for burning like Nero or Burnaware ...etc.

This is a guide to burn ISO image with Nero:
* Open Nero Burning ROM.
* Close the New Compilation window which shows up automatically.
* From the File menu, click Open.
* Browse for the Windows ISO image (The ISO file you've downloaded).
* Choose the type of media you're using CD or DVD.
* Finally burn.

Ok, I've installed and burned with BurnAware Pro and now in the process of installing on the computer,
Will post back if I encounter more problems.

Well it's still not working,
It installs onto the Harddrive fine then when I try and boot it it says

DISK BOOT FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

Anything you can do to help?

Have you chosen to burn IMAGE [NOT DATA] ?

Look at this picture of BurnAware .. You should choose the option "Burn Image" and then, browse for the ISO file you have downloaded ..
