I dont remember what was removed or not. Its for testing purposes. Wmp, ie, winupdate are not available. There are some registry modifications. imageres, winsetup are modified too.
Those who want can get it there: http://depositfiles.com/files/6dmrnx5la the torrent link will be removed tonight from the forum.

I'll take a look at it.

For the updated ISOs you want to create try the following:

  • Delete everything in \windows\winsxs folder in the boot.wim image and see if WinPE can load
UPDATE: It won't you will be faced with a BSOD. I will try to locate the exact cause.
  • install.wim winsxs: not every fodler there is needed. I will need to do some experimenting here - but my idea is simple: Keep only the GDR versions plus the original SP1_RTM versions of the components stored.

The specialist Maher will unlikey bother uploading his last iso, since next iso will probably be out next week with tuesday patch if he still cares.

Some users know Im working on my own and are probably wondering what scarface will do. The specialist Harkaz and eventually other valuable users will be entitled to download my lite tweaked and sysprep iso. I've left Paris for a while to heal myself. My current connection is not able to upload anything so there will be nothing till the end of the month. Then I can eventually host torrents as I have a fiber optic connection with a large upload bandwidth.

@scarface

I have improved the method I use to reset Windows Product Activation Counter. Now the WPA configuration is exactly the same as in Technet ISO installations.

This also solved a special issue caused by deleting the WPA key before capturing: If you used an updated installation disk to install Windows and entered Audit mode (Ctrl+Shift+F3) then you would see a note on the lower right corner of the desktop:
"Windows 7 Build 7601. This copy of Windows is not genuine" because the default product keys were not installed.

I will upload a guide with the new method soon.

For the ones who were looking for new links for the isos, Critical updates have been delivered lately and its likely a matter of time before the specialist maher finally releases something if he still cares.
To the specialist harkaz: I wont do anything till the end of the month. I will be back in paris next week, and I will wait for microsoft to deliver their ie10. I dont use this but still, It has to be a feature in my next iso you'll perhaps agree with that. If you have tested my prototype you have seen ie had been deleted because I only use a custom-made firefox. Ill keep you posted meanwhile.

To the specialist Harkaz: I didnt experience your problem. does it happen on an already sysprep image? If so, you'd better clone your VMs.

Yes the non-genuine message appeared on a syspreped image.
If you downloaded the December 2012 "Slim" edition from my blog (no more available, as it is updated to February 2013), you would have faced the issue.

Make sure you check the rearm countdown number before you sysprep, by running the slmgr /dlv command. You should ensure that this is 4, so that it becomes 3 after syspreping (which is Microsoft's default). If it is 5, run slmgr /rearm so that it becomes 4, and then sysprep.

IE10 will be here very soon, so I am looking forward to your release

I dont know. I will test that on my next release. I always use a clean iso or a clone being updated to avoid having some repaired images already syspred. I havent tested your images.
