Did you call that strange number in the UK or what? When I tried to activate my 8.1, the US phone number didn't work, but the UK number did. Typical Microsoft -- leave the door just a little bit open for pirates to enter and spread their OS everywhere. We pirates are rewarded with a free copy.

UK works but US ask for a Product Key and it doesn't matter whenever you are a victim
My cousin gave me a pirated Key
