Edge was uninstalled. New drivers were integrated.
It could be available tomorrow.

Let me ask you something. If this is 23H2, does it have that other garbage M$ is pushing (e.g., CoPilot, Passphrase)? I'm wondering because my VM copy did manage to download and install 23H2 through Windows Update. I'm not seeing anything like that. On both the desktop and laptop copies of W11 there is as yet no option to upgrade to it. I have no idea why.

It's not that I need it or want it. I'm curious as to why it's not there after so much hype. I'm thinking you since you have the lite version for download, all this stuff was there and you removed it.

I don't know because I don't use them. But I didn't see these apps.
I removed windows edge, which takes up several gigabytes of space, that's why I called it "lite".

Quote from: Vasudev on November 08, 2023, 06:24 PMGrabbed the 23H2 ISO and just added latest preview CU. with Vbox you may need to add 5GB RAM, 50GB disk, TPM2.0,EFI secure boot and chipset is ICH9 instead of PIII.
Image is compressed with ESD otherwise it is 5.8GB if not more.
In the real PC, only enablement package was needed to upgrade from 22H2 to 23H2.

The VM has plenty of resources alloted to it, so I doubt that's the problem. I tried to install the stock 23H2 to the host OS and I got some sort of license verification error. Not sure what that means or how to get around it. No mention of secure boot or TPM. TPM enabled on my rig, but not secure boot.

Let me be sure about something: the ISO you uploaded to Mega is 22H2's October edition or is it 23H2? Also, I'm not clear what you mean by "enablement package". Can you clarify?
Enablement package(EKB) is small package around 200KB which enables fast upgrade to higher OS version without needing bigger file downloads. The ISO is indeed Win 11 23H2 x64.

@humbert & @scarface
It seems Reserved Storage is the reason why ISO takes huge chunk of space in VM. The registry trick isn't working and needs the Dism command.
Dism /Online /Set-ReservedStorageState /State:Disabled
Future releases of Win 10/11 and possibly ARM64 versions will have the above script integrated.

Win 10 22H2 November 2023: Win 10 22H2
Hashes SHA256: Checksum SHA256

How did you do that? I found a script at github that does that. You run in under Powershell as administrator. I'm thinking you know a better way.

And yes, Edge is a total waste. It's just a microsoftified Google Chrome that sends telemetry to M$oft instead of Google.

I used that script indeed. It seems to be the best way to remove it.

Actually, I hope you have downloaded this new version of windows. Although I think there is nothing new in windows 11, this edition is probably the best I have released so far (you have probably noticed the new transparent taskbar too).

I'm not seeing a tranparent taskbar. I don't see why anyone would even want it. All is does it make the taskbar harder to see. I have mine set to hide automatically unless I need it. Bring down the mouse cursor or hit the Windows key and it comes back up.

Didn't see that in my edition as well. Did they bring Windows Aero Transparent glass taskbar?
I did try to service ARM version it seems my CPU is not powerful enough to handle ARM64 builds. Getting pegged at 100% for 3hrs plus just to make standard WIM editable images in an ISO.
