Assalamu alaikum akhi Mansour,

Nice to hear from you.
I always try to keep things as simple as possible. I could load the site with lots of programs, but I don't want to do so.
I just want to add simple and necessary programs.

Thank you for your advice  ;)

You changed your signature  ;)

In any case, I wanted to ask you about something on there. You point us to the site http://maherz.softarchive.net (or something like that). I keep going there but I don't see any files or significant information, just a login prompt and general news. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some login or password to sign on and get at the files? I think you have the latest copy of Win 7-64 on there with updates all the way to February. I'm looking for that simply to replace my old copy, which works OK but, as you said once, you have to bring down tons of updates.

Hey Humb ;)
I've changed along time ago. Anyway, regarding softarchive, the page you open is my blog there. You can see that I have a bout 4 pages now, each page has "Articles".
Articles can be news posted by me, or programs to download. You can find Windows 7 and Windows XP articles in page 3 or 4.
February version isn't out yet, Microsft didn't release it's monthly updates yet. When they release the updates I do my job and I inform everyone through the news box up to your right ;)
Ciao.

Ciao.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm totally lost. First things first: what exactly do you mean when you said "I changed a long time ago"?

Now, concerning the link itself, I have it open in another tab. At the top it says "Blog: Maher's Digital World" and right beside it in orange letters is says "disabled". Right next to that it says [ connect ] -- I clicked on that and it says "you must be registered before you connect to blog". After that you see all kinds of news items and new products, plus some files that are impossible to download. Notice I'm not doing this from memory, I have it open in another tab and I'm switching back and forth, giving you every detail of what I'm doing. In fact, suspecting the problem might be due to Firefox's Adblock Plus, pop-up blockers or relatively high security I've got, I even used the IE Lite add-on to open the site in Maxthon (which lacks these protective measures), and not even with that could I see what you're saying should be there.

If there's a situation where everyone except me can access that page, then I've got to be doing something wrong. I doubt it's a configuration error on my part because the other browser would have picked it up, like it picked up a "Play Now" banner and allowed  a window with some sexy babes to open (AdBlock Plus blocked this).

Please help.
