Awww.. how sweet!   - FYI, the only reason I mentioned your SO is because I know you're very cool with it and, most importantly, you're smart enough to have learned to accept and love yourself as you are and NOT as someone else might want you to be. I have gay friends (both genders) and sadly there are some that haven't accomplished this, or if they did, only after lots of struggle. While getting inside their heads on this issue isn't possible for me because my SO is different from theirs, still you can sense the pain. It's sad.

Not as far as I know. Sadly we are tied down geography and the fact that we were born way too early, i.e., too soon to take advantage of teleportation once the technology has been perfected. You think I'm joking? Be advised scientists have already successfully beamed a ray of light and subsequently some subatomic particles, in fact I think they got as far as atoms. I don't think we'll live to see this thing perfected and working.   There are many people on here I'd just LOVE to meet personally, and it goes without saying that you (Katana) are very much on my list. Unlike the guys who get a handshake or a hug, you get a kiss.
