MSPaint is better than Photoshop
regarding the UI and less resource consumption and the load on the processor.

Very true, but this logic applies to just about everything. XP (for example) uses far less resources on the system that Windows 7, but then even computers built 3-4 years ago have sufficient resources to run Win 7 effectively. Both hardware and software will get stronger almost by the day.

I don't always listen to the critics.
Same as me. But I do pay some attention in the will of getting some new knowledge about the programs. It is very interesting.

It's not that I don't pay critics any attention whatsoever. Very often they point out things I'm simply not aware of. Better yet, if they believe program A is better than program B, many times they'll say why, which interests me the most. Mostly what I intended to say is simply that their opinion may not always agree with mine, and I often think it's just a question of favoring one configuration over another. I have yet to see 2 identical computer configurations.

Well, I try to stay updated by doing such things as subscribing to PC World, getting the latest Windows updates, and when I check what's available on the torrents, most of what I get is newer versions of stuff I already have. There no specific site that has all the answers, in a way it's a combination of many.

Have you gotten your claws on Firefox 12 -- the release, available on Mozilla's site? So far it hasn't crashed on me (11 did a few times). Another thing I like is that when using the InstantFox search engine add on, your searches appear on a small, semi-transparent windows as opposed to taking up the whole page as on FF 11. There may be some other things I haven't run into yet, but so far I like it.

Yeah I am trying Firefox 12 :)
I have already sent a feedback to them ;)

In Firefox 11
I face a problem: :(
When I press the Ctrl & then press a link, it kind of freezes for about 5-10 secs & then the new tab is opened
I guess why it has to freeze
Older versions did not freeze
Note: I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit OEM'd by DELL
In Windows XP I don't have the same problem. :-\

I assume this was what the feedback you sent them was all about. I haven't run into that bug yet because I, using the Menu Editor and Tab Mix Plus add-ons, configured it in such a way that when I close in on a link and right click, a menu comes up. Two options are "Open Link in this Tab" and "Open Link in another Tab". Using this, I've yet run into the problem you're mentioning. By all means if there is a fix, kindly post it for us, I'd like to know.

Hey I am trying Aurora
I really think its fast and very efficient.

Is this the latest version on the FTP site, which I've got bookmarked someplace? Here's the kicker -- how compatible is it with the add-ons you've got installed? There are several add-ons I have which I simply can't live without. This not to even mention Roboform (my PW manager), which must be compatible or I simply won't be able to log into the many sites I've collected over the years.

One of these days I'm going to review what's in there and throw out the probably hundreds of dead links.
