Try DriverPack Solution .. It's the most famous drive packs on the net. It has in its database nearly all drivers for any type.

Hi,

Is it possible to include all the necessary SATA/PATA drivers so I could install latest version (November 2012) on Dell Mini 10? Mini 10 doesn't have CD nor Floppy so I can't install additional storage driver during installation, and after initial startup the installation program freezes just before going to the screen where you can setup the disk partition - I guess it can't connect to the drive so it freezes. The only version of WinXP I've found working with Mini10 is OEM DELL - this one has all the drivers, however once I install it I need to spend some time to load all the updates since Feb 2009.

Otherwise, great work!
You can use win2flash to make a USB installation.

Lack of physical CD is not a problem - I do have an external DVD drive and install it from there. However, the problem is that the SATA/PATA controller in DELL Mini 10 is not detected and while the install program is able to load all the drivers into the memory it fails to go to the next step which is creating the partition - it is not able to "see" the hard-drive. When I use the CD with the DELL version of Windows XP then everything is fine. It just seems like your version is missing some driver that the Mini 10 needs to continue the installation process.

Hope it helps in understanding my problem

Hi, can I ask a question ?

When I install Windows XP, it says need to restart, but the black screen come out after restart. The Mice also not respond ( does not have light). Why the black screen will come out ? How to solve it ?

1) The DVD does not have  problem...

2) I used Windows 8 before...

3) No problem when I install Windows 7or 8...

4) To install Windows XP, need to set bios? How? Does it difference with windows 7 or 8? (BIOS CMOS Utility - Copyright (c) 1985 - 2005, American  Megatrends, Inc.)

5) When I format the partition, I see a system reserved (100MB) 's partition, it need be formatted?

I am sorry about my bad english...

@ks0616:

Hello .. :)
May be you need to set your BIOS to IDE .. As on my cousin's PC, he set BIOS to AHCI for Windows 7 but he set it to IDE for XP.

I hope this works.  :)

How to Install Windows XP into a USB?

Use WinToFlash to prepare XP to be installed from USB.
Just open the program and follow instructions.

Im back again to see if you can solve my problems:

I Burned XP onto a disc at the lowest speed.
When I try and install XP onto my IDE HDD it installs fine.
When I try and boot the HDD an Error that says DISK BOOT FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
I redownloaded it and reinstalled it loads of time and nothing new happens.
You guys got anything I could try regarding the HDD, BIOS, CD etc.. anything helps

When you finished the installation, did you go into your BIOS and set drive C to be your first boot drive? I'm asking because it appears the motherboard is trying to boot from a drive with no OS on it.

Well now I feel stupid don't I.
I had boot set to:
1.HDD1
2.HDD2
3.HDD3

But I didnt see HDD0 Which was infact the right HDD. Well the more you know.
