Hmmm i just searched it to and found kit on the CD , bust still got the error message. Must be that my cdrom is out of use ...

Then, if your motherboard supports booting from USB, why not installing XP from Flash drive?!
For installing XP from flash drive, You can use WinToFlash or Rufus.
Both do the required job.

Not sure if i should post here or a separate thread. Installed the january one more than a week ago. Anyway i tried to install East Asian Languages, after inserting the CD it asked me for cplexe.exe. Am i the only one getting this for those who installed the east asian languages? Thinking it might be this cd, i i tried my old vlk xp sp1 cd but i get the same thing asking for cplexe.exe. I have no problems installing the languages in my old xp if that matters. So what should i do? Tnx :)

I dont use XP and I dont use asian language.

lol thanks for taking the time to help then. Will try it out later :)

EDIT: Ok it worked. I only extracted the cplexe.ex_ file from the SP3 pack and used Maher's xp cd when it asked for the other files. Though i noticed after i tried selecting the cplexe.ex_ but cancelled the rest of the installation, a cplexe.exe appeared in my C:\WINDOWS\ime\imjp8_1\. I actually can't remember if i had that ime folder before lol. Dunno if thats the same thing it was asking for before though :-\ Just used the ex_ to be safe ;D

@ ecchi :)

The file you mentioned "CPLEXE.EX_" already exists in the XP CD in the folder "i386\LANG"..
You only need to browse for it when asking.

Really, I didn't try installing East Asian Languages before.. But I assume when it asks you for the file "CPLEXE.EX_", browse for it inside the XP CD >> i386 >> LANG ..
Then, It should work without any problems.
