Maybe in France, but not in San Antonio nor anywhere else in the USA except maybe New York. Here there are people in the streets and life goes on as usual. The only difference is that people wear masks to enter public places and restaurants force groups of people to sit apart. Even so, this crisis has to end and the world must get back to normal ASAP.

As of today's date (30/11/2020) they're saying 3 vaccines are almost ready for mass distribution - one from Moderna, another from Phizer-BioNtech, and the 3rd from Astra-Zeneca. All are reporting success rates of well over 90%. Moderna has already asked America's FDA for approval to begin mass distribution immediately.

Well, there are protests practically every day in France, and they may have sparked a new outbreak. Who knows?
But I think those protests are obscuring the main issues: global warming and the depletion of fossil fuels.

In our discussions with humbert, we have seen that there is no confinement in the United States despite the terrible coronavirus pandemic. But amid a covid surge, hospitals and rescue centers are overwhelmed.

Yes and no. Keep in mind this is a big country and most of this is decentralized, i.e., it falls under state and not federal control. Here in San Antonio there's no confinement at all. I'm not sure if that's the case in [for example] California, but I do know the restrictions are tighter. Restrictions are also tighter in New York. There it makes sense. If you've been to New York you'd know it's got a very high population density and many people walking in the street.

BTW my prediction came true. Back in April I predicted there would be a vaccine by the end of the year. There are 3. It's true they haven't ironed out all the bugs, but I believe it's safe to say Covid19's days are numbered.
