Hi maher.

I am using this software "Windows XP" on VmWAre
I had Installed two Same copy
One of the two asked a product Key but it works
THe other who don't ask for a product key I am getting a problem
The problem is when I open a file (e.g: Internet Explorer)
It says "You don't have the permission to access this file"
Even on personalizing
The theme is classic now Windows Xp
I bet your softwares will work but the other one is working like a charm

Note: I would like to get Windows Media Player 11 please give me the link (Can't download from microsoft)

When I installed XP on VMWare, I remember it also asked for a product key. I just did a Google search and found a few, one of them worked. After that it's been running OK. Mine isn't even Maher's release. My golden rule is to go to TPB and see what copies are available. If you see plenty of people on the swarm and positive comments (or no negative comments), I'd say there's a very good possibility it'll work.

Hi Maher and thanks for the awesome discs.

Just wondering if there is anyway of adding your SATA drivers into a XP Home SP3 Retail/OEM Disc? I'm guessing I use the $OEM$ folder somehow but not sure how to do this?

i used NLITE, for adding. removing and customizing win xp setup, you can give a try to it.

Can't seem to get it to install the Sata drivers on the initial "Load SATA drivers using F6" screen. Only installs the drivers later in the setup. So it won't pick up my Sata drive to start the install. :(

Hey Maher! Thanks for the awesome work. Much props to you. I downloaded your November release of winxp sp3. I used win2flash to create a bootable usb hdd to install winxp on my netbook. Everything works great except during installation I get;

setup cannot copy the file: msvbvm50.dll

I skip the process and finish installing with no problems. I thought maybe there was an error with my usb so I created another one and still get the same problem. Any ideas what's wrong?

I don't know about the cause of this, but may be this file was skipped during the process of copying to the flash drive, or any other cause.

Anyway, as long as there were no more problems, it's OK. But you should check the presence of this file in system32 folder.. If it doesn't exist, you should copy it from your XP CD manually.

You'll find this file in the CD in the I386 folder like this "MSVBVM50.DL_"..
You can extract it with 7-zip program and then, copy the resulting file "MSVBVM50.DLL" to system32 folder.

Thanks for the reply. I checked my USB HDD to see if MSVBVM50.DL_ was copied and it was. It's so odd that only that 1 file can't be copied during installation. If I do what you say and just copy the file into the system32 folder, will it be the same as if I had a perfect installation?

 ???

So.. I went into the sys32 folder to copy the .dll but it was already there. How messed is that? Thanks for the help though guys :)
