I looking forward to try this iso, would be nice if I do not need to install any windows updates after clean installation. Will windows 2000 and XP x64 get similar treatment?

Windows XP 64Bit is dead, noone uses it, noone makes drivers for it(well some do, but you get the point)
Windows 2000, I doubt that it will, it's also in the past.
I am about 95% sure on this, let the Admins correct me :)

You're absolutely correct. XP is all but gone. As I keep on saying, only those people who are stuck with an old system and financially impossible to upgrade should stick with it. Of course this is assuming they can't use a 32bit distro of Linux instead.

one more question that is there any option to install direct X 10 or 11 in windows xp...

Windows XP doesn't support those DX versions. You can go as high as 9.0c, but no more. Use this web installer.

For anyone wanting to download the latest updates after April's end of support, there is a neat trick to force WU to show the Windows POSReady updates to normal XP: Save this as a reg file and merge it to registry. Then restart and check for updates... ;)

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\WindowsEmbedded\ProductVersion]
"FeaturePackVersion"="SP3"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\WEPOS]
"Installed"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\WES]
"Installed"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\PosReady]
"Installed"=dword:00000001

Neat trick.. I would do this on my super old laptop, but I am too lazy to wait an hour for it to boot :)

if your laptop has not good CPU & enough memory, why you update windows??
just make lite version of XP & use, if you want, i can give you such XP.
I don't have the drivers for it, sorry. Otherwise I would definitely do it.
I would like an installation for it though. And do you know if I can install it on a USB stick and get it to boot successfully on a machine that already has windows 7 installed on it?
