BIOS does not have those settings. Most likely due to HP hiding things. *shrug*

Looking around, I need ION/nVidia SATA drivers for my laptop here. I'm guessing the NoMaher release does not have these already.

Now I'm just trying to figure out nLite.

BLADESHARK

did you try my first method????

Planning to dual-boot. I am aware XP will overwrite the bootloader, but looked up how to get it back.

Also, there is NO option in the BIOS other than setting boot order in system configuration. They're restrictive it seems. (HP's site says to get a 3rd party tool if there is no option)

from my experience i will tell you that there is no need for a third party [Easy BCD] to get the bootloader back.
first install xp in c and then install 7 in d
u will automatically get the 2 OS options when u start ur lappy

I'm installing XP after 7, so I will need to. It's no tool, just a few commands along with having the CD.

Now if I can just get this to recognize my HDD, that would be great.

make sure your sata controller is set to ATA, not AHCI in bios

If you're listening, there is NO option to change that. Nada. Zilch. Nope. Not there.
