@Dunknow:

The file you've downloaded is a compressed RAR file. You should extract it to give you the ISO file.  If it asks for a password to extract, this is it:
maherz.softarchive.net.
If the problem persists, try another extraction program like 7-Zip.
But the RAR file must be extracted without errors.

After extraction, check the MD5 hash of the ISO file.. It must be this:
Code (MD5 hash of September 2012 ISO) Select
C46C98CAC30042C8D278CDC606A7C981
If the hash is identical, then it's OK and you have the right ISO file. It should also be extracted without errors. Or you can mount the ISO file to a virtual drive like DAEMON Tools to avoid ISO extraction.

There is another tool [I tried before] to put XP on flash drive and it needs the ISO file without extraction called Rufus. You can give it a try.

But be sure that the MD5 hash of the ISO file is identical:
Code (MD5 hash of September 2012 ISO) Select
C46C98CAC30042C8D278CDC606A7C981
This is the important thing to be sure that you have the right ISO file.
If it's NOT identical, download it agian, or force RE-CHECK with uTorrent as it may not be downloaded completely.

Good luck.  ;)

Okay, I got win xp to download thank god.

I used DAEMON TOOLS + WINTOFLASH. So for those encountering problems, that is the setup you should go after.

Now the only problem is, I can't get a battery driver to install :( Driverpack solution isn't prompting anything and I can't really find much on the internet. I need to know how much the laptop battery is at so I can charge it etc.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry for this.
Many attachments have been corrupted recently.
I re-attached the torrent file again in the same page.

Guys I tried install win xp through a usb, but in all cases I get a "failed to copy a file" at 92% and then when reboot I get a
"hal.dll is corrupt or missing". This happened with both the august and september editions. I also checked the MD5 hash and the ISO is correct.

I have used rar and 7-zip to unrar, magic disc and daemon tools lite to extract and usb multiboot 10 to format the usb. In any combination of the above the result is the same. It doesnt work.

Any ideas?

Ahmad

@peterhead:

Are you using WinToFlash?
If so, make sure that it's the latest version. Because the latest versions of it have an option in the menu of XP installation [At the time when choosing text phase and GUI phase] regarding hal.dll errors.
So, try this option. It may help.

If the same problem happened, try this tool (Rufus).

If the same problem happened, I want you to know that not all motherboards succeed in installing XP from USB including mine >>> It gives me BSOD [Blue Screen Of Death] and I'm doing everything right as I tried the same flash drive on my cousin's PC and it worked.

Sir, does the product key provided for Windows XP SP3 from pastebin do already pass Windows Genuine Advantage? (the piracy checker)
Or still, after using that key, I still have to use tweaks?
(Magical Jelly Bean + WinKeyGen + wga-fix)
Thanks!
