For you XP lovers, check out this link. It speaks for itself. Naturally, our great leader Maher will not be able to put out future releases, so forget about that.

With computing and technology, staying in the past is impossible. Upgrade or die - that's the bottom line.

i am not using Win XP, i used it only for some puposes, in my country, i think there is 90% computer users using Win XP.
i don't know why some people stick with it, while there pc specifications meet with Windows 7 requirments, however more number of people have'nt good pc to run Win7.

It's simple - people are comfortable with what they know and are afraid of what they don't know. For that reason they just prefer to take the easy way out and stay in the past as if the present or future didn't exist. Believe me, this is nothing new and is by no means limited to Pakistan or any other country.

The problem with this logic is that these people are swimming against the current and eventually they'll be overwhelmed.

It's not that simple. Not at all. XP is still around for many reasons. It's a great OS, probably Microsoft's best. A lot of users prefer to use it over subsequent versions of Windows. There are millions of computers with hardware that won't run Vista or Windows 7. Many businesses have software and systems on XP that are working satisfactorily. And so on. Your logic is flawed

My logic is clear. The simple fact that XP has been around so long is no indication that it's god's gift to creation. Yes, it was a good OS in its day, but believe me, I ran Windows 8 for about 13 months and I now upgraded to 8.1. These 2 OS's are as rock solid as XP was. XP's problem is the simple fact that it's archaic.

The problem with businesses often boil down to economics. Many are still using relatively old client PC's. For them it's not just the downtime involved in upgrading, but the fact that, unlike us pirates, they have to pay for it. But even for them upgrades are inevitable - those old computers will slowly but surely go away, never to be replaced, and replacements don't come with XP. Don't believe me? Ask yourself this - who today is still running on a first generation Pentium? Oh and of course, don't forget support ends next year. This means no more security updates.

For me a major irritant when I boot up mini-XP on Hirens Boot CD is that I cannot use my much faster USB 3.0 flashdrive on the USB 3.0 port. XP is too old and won't see the drive. I have to use the slower 2.0 port. Upgrades are a fact of life and that's the bottom line.

Can you tell me if these versions of XP are the oem untouched version. I need one to perform a repair and it must be XP Pro oem.

Thank you in advance.

Maher's XP release is the original Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3 (32-bit) ISO (Volume License) including Microsoft updates, Internet Explorer 8, Adobe Flash Player and SATA drivers.

So, it is VL not OEM and I think it has NO repair option.
