Hi, cha! You can export your bookmarks from FF to HTML and with easy import them back.
So, in FF, press Ctrl+Shift+B, and click on button "Import & backup". There you can export your bookmarks to a HTML file, and import them back later by the same way.

Then you can reinstall FF, check your PC with AV, use CCLeaner, etc.

But, I think there is a simplier way to resolve this. Open Mozilla settings, and on pannel "General" set in "On start up Firefox" value "Show homepage." I can bet, now there is value "Show empty page".
