No idea. Because kickass.so has just led me to a white page and katproxy.com hasnt, I used katproxy.com instead for a while, and kept using.

Apparently that's what it is. Kickass.so was chased out of Somalia, so they moved to Tonga (.so -> .to). Katproxy seems to leads you to the right one regardless of location.
