Note that a new version of Office 2007 is available (only 290 Mb).
Every update (SP3 and subsequent updates) was directly slipstreamed in the installer.
The Installer is completely silent.

Note that I have the The LEGO set 6285. I was offered this lego set when it was released, in 1989, and it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful lego sets. At the time, it cost 800 francs (around 120 €), which was a lot of money. I still have this set in a cardboard box. Maybe I'll take a few photos of this set for the users of the forum.

Quote from: Vasudev on February 02, 2026, 03:31 PMThank you I only hear that from men and nothing from the women than the typical dialog "You look the same even after 10/15 years (when they saw in high school) and only thing that is changed is the height which makes me feel like an ancient being roaming the universe for quite long time"

A classic example of Murphy's Law. It's like when firing a gun and hitting anything except the target.😊

QuoteIt was being rolling out in Philippines, South America, Vietnam, India and other South East Asian countries first as pilot program until it was scrapped due to backlash.

What is Google even thinking? Can you still sideload in India or did they scrap that over there too?

Quote from: Vasudev on February 02, 2026, 03:31 PMStill do that and it becomes a chore on setting up new phones where you have 100-200 system apps and user apps that are shoved once you connect the WiFi

Is it possible to disable this garbage on iPhones? On Android phones you can't delete this garbage, but at least you can disable it. It disappears from the list of app icons and does not update.

QuoteReally? Not here. I have no issue sideloading on my Pixel 9 Pro. In fact, if that happened nobody would buy there phones here in America.

QuoteThere is bloat left and right on Android phones. Get rid of whatever you don't use an disable the rest. I'm not surprised what you said about the batteries iPhones. Everyone knows Apple has a far more controlled environment. Precisely the reason I don't particularly like it.

Quote from: Vasudev on January 20, 2026, 11:36 AMYeah it's definitely me. It was a selfie taken at home and I simply used illustrative style for image generation without any additional text prompt.

Quote from: Vasudev on January 20, 2026, 11:36 AMI simply moved because Google started blocking side load which they backtracked after 2 months and by that time I already switched.

Quote from: Vasudev on January 20, 2026, 11:36 AMThen again battery life is insane with lot of apps than android because every small things have native iOS apps than android. I felt the quality of apps to be better on iOS especially background data and battery usage. It's absolute madness how they have better battery with 3000 mAH than my 4600 mAH Pixel with slow SoC that barely lasts a full day.

Quote from: scarface on January 26, 2026, 09:17 PMI heard there is a cold spell in Texas, and it's probably not better in Sweden. If humbert and shadow.97 are confined to their house, it's certainly a good recipe idea.

You are correct. For the past few days here in San Antonio, morning temps have been about -5°C, rising to about 0°C during the day. Even today it only went to about 9°C during the day and back down to about 0°C tonight. A few days ago the car has a solid sheet of ice on the windshield. I had to use a clipboard (all I had) to partially remove it. There was even snow on the roof when I woke up in the morning. Highly unusual.

I wish it were always like this despite the amount of gas I'm burning to keep warm. What I don't like is temps of 37° to 40°C every day during the summer months.

As for the pizza you showed, you can put anything you want on a pizza. The number of flavors is infinite.

Tonight, I'm going to show you another good dish.
Look at the photo below.

This dish certainly looks like the previous one presented here, but this pizza is not common, it is known as "Pizza tartiflette".
I already presented the tartiflette dish a while ago, during the confinement due to the Covid, in this message: https://www.nomaher.com/forum/index.php?topic=3197.msg35578#msg35578
Actually, the tartiflette is a nourishing and comforting winter dish combining potatoes, bacon and Reblochon cheese.

I heard there is a cold spell in Texas, and it's probably not better in Sweden. If humbert and shadow.97 are confined to their house, it's certainly a good recipe idea.
