Quote from: humbert on June 26, 2023, 05:24 AMI didn't watch the video but logic dictates either this documentary is just a conspiracy theory or the scientists working there don't know what they're doing.

I watched this video and I don't know what to think: they made some good points in there and I wouldn't be surprised if this virus came out of the laboratory of Wuhan. Another strange fact is that the French team who was working in this laboratory was expelled in 2014.

That may be. What I don't understand is what exactly were these people hoping to achieve? If they were trying to create some real trouble, they failed miserably. Covid has only a 4% death rate. By comparison, the Spanish flu could kill you in a day, and let's not even talk about Bubonic plague. And, this was done at a time when medical science was far more advanced then when these other 2 pandemics struck. It took about a year to develop vaccines.

If I were trying to create real mischief, I go with Ebola or smallpox. I read somewhere that the major powers are keeping stocks of smallpox ready to go in case biological warfare becomes necessary. No one is vaccinated any more, and it's not impossible to create strains that are resistant to today's smallpox vaccine. Ebola can also kill you in a day and, unlike HIV, Ebola is airborne.

I also didn't have time to watch the video, but as far as I know the start of WWII is debated among historians. Some say it began in 1931 when Japan invaded Manchuria. Others say it began in 1937 with Japan's invasion of China and the subsequent rape of Nanking. The problem with saying WWII began on Sept 1, 1939 is that it would essentially take Japan out of the picture. Still other historians believe the war began as early as June 28, 1914 and ended Sept 2, 1945, i.e., WWII was an extension of WWI. I guess it all boils down to a matter of opinion.

And speaking of the rape of Nanking, ever heard of Shiro Ishii, the head of Japan's notorious Unit 731? That man could have given Mengele lessons. Mengele was hunted to the very end and never caught. Ishii kept meticulous records and gave it all to the Americans in exchange for his freedom. He died of natural causes in 1958 and never faced any criminal charges. And yes, there are people who still believe justice exists.

Homelessness is a big problem in California. Tramps are now wandering the streets in most neighborhoods of los Angeles and San Francisco, including Beverly hills. But is there the same problem in Texas? Humbert doesn't want to live in a ghetto and we can understand that. Fortunately the problem is less acute in Texas. This video explains why.

Tell me about it! The heat is unbearable. Every day temps here in SA go anywhere from 39° to 41°C. At about 23:00 my thermometer reads a chilly 33°C. The central A/C unit in my house runs almost non-stop. This month I paid $351 this month for 1,734 kWh in electricity, including about $50 in charging my electric car. Why couldn't I have been born Canadian, Swedish, Swiss or something like that?

It's my understanding Hitler's interest in Norway was to secure supplies of heavy water so he could continue his research on nuclear weapons. Finland was an ally in the sense that they had a common enemy (Russia), and he decided to leave Sweden alone for now. I don't see how some sort of alliance with Stalin could have worked out since even before the Molotov-Rippenthorp pact, Hitler was planning Operation Barbarossa. And, it was very important for him to do it the sooner the better - Stalin was busy rebuilding the command structure after the bloody purges of the 1930's.

An interesting historical anecdote. It's been reported Stalin died of a cerebral hemorrhage. The facts contradict that assumption. He was found dead on the floor of his office foaming at the mouth and in a pool of his own urine. This is a typical symptom of poisoning. Why? Word got out that Stalin was planning another purge just like in the 1930's. What he didn't realize is that the trick of the Trojan Horse doesn't work twice.

The Third Reich to conquer the World – documentary
Hitler's strategy proved successful everywhere from 1939 to 1942. The Blitzkrieg, crushing all resistance, spectacular operations, such as the conquest of Crete by the German paratroopers or the irresistible power armies invading Russia, are striking proof of the military superiority of the Third Reich during the first four years of the conflict. In June 1941, operation Barbarossa began in Russia. It was a huge success for Germany: in October 1941, the Nazis were encircling Moscow. However, between September 1941 and January 1944, the siege of Leningrad (known as Saint Petersburg today), turned out to be a defeat for the Nazis. Hitler wanted to get rid of the soviets,  and the siege claimed the lives of 800,000 of the city's inhabitants mainly from cold and hunger, but the town was eventually liberated. And From January 1943, the fate of weapons  changed sides.

At the beginning the video says "Adolf Hitler, the conqueror of France". Bullshit!

Let me tell you a story. A years ago when I was working, the old typewriter needed repair. A tall, elderly man with a German accent showed up. I started to ask him about his heritage and his history. He told me he was a German soldier in 1940 during the invasion of France. According to him, the only reason Hitler won so easily is because the French didn't fight. He remembers marching into villages totally unopposed and being told nobody wanted to fight. The Germans weren't too interested in fighting either. All they did was take target practice to justify to their superiors they fought.

During my visit to Paris in 2007 I asked the tour guide (pointing at the Arc de Triomphe) if it was there where Hitler marched his troops. He responded, "yes, and all because we didn't fight".

No wonder Paris was undamaged when Hitler visited.

QuoteMalaysia Airlines Flight 370: What happened?

I've seen every documentary about 370. The problem with this mystery is that no explanation makes any sense. Clearly what happened was due to human intervention. Despite that, we have no motive, no explanation, nothing.

We're being told that once the plane left Malaysian airspace, the pilot did a U-Turn, flew over the ocean between Indonesian islands to the west, then south into the Indian Ocean. Supposedly this was confirmed by Malaysian radar. It just so happens that Australia has a military base in Malaysia (Butterworth). Their radar reported nothing. Weird, eh?

Remember that wreakage that mysteriously washed up on the beaches of some islands in the western Indian Ocean? The serial numbers were sent to Boeing. Of those, 12 did not match the plane on MH370. Airplane wings and other parts also have identification tags. It just so happens that many of these tags were missing. These are removed only when the planes are purposely dismantled. This implies that the parts that wound up in the Indian Ocean are from other similar planes no longer in use. They were clearly planted there by Malaysian government who is desperate to close the case.

We are no closer to solving this mysery than on the first day. NOTHING makes sense.
