I downloaded the Windows 11 23H2. Maybe this one will actually work. Just a quick question: did you test it well before uploading it? If so, does the command line open immediately? Did you find any other issues with it?

Can you post a screenshot of disk layout where windows 11 is installed? Windows 11 is still a mystery to me why it doesn't install on your PC. BTW I switched the windows explorer to old windows 10 style using Switchexplorer.
I'm on 23H2 December update and after that I created the new ISO.

It DOES install. The problem is what happens afterwards. The command prompt and powershell don't come up. Windows Update doesn't work. There are probably some other snags too, but these are the ones I found so far My only choice was to restore the back I made before attempting the install.

I don't think there's something wrong with your ISO. There's something wrong with my system. I believe a clean install will solve the problem. Who's got the time to reconfigure everything from scratch and reinstall all my apps? I know I'll probably have to do this the day 22H2 is no longer supported. I'm putting off the inevitable.

In your tests you show no issue with your copy of 23H2?

Yes indeed I'm using 23H2 the same December 2024 update. Can you send a snapshot of layout of your SSD in disk management. I want to verify if system partitions have proper disk space. Injecting latest update increases recovery image size.

Just to be clear. It's Winkey-X then K for Disk Management, right? Assuming this is what it is, do you have an email address to send it to?

I know Scarface posts a ton of pics here. I'm just not sure how he does it. I've done it before years ago. I forgot and/or the servers that host the pics might be different.

Is this that buggy, quasi-ininstallable 24H2 or something better than that?

I have nothing else to offer.

Why even bother with an unfinished, bug-infested piece of software that you didn't write and is causing more problems than it solved? Even on my laptop which has a pretty decent copy of Windows, it would not install.

Suggest you wait a while and let Micro$haft fix this garbage.
