After the last comments of humbert in this topic, I was a bit depressed and I decided to leave the forum for a while. I will delete the incriminating messages. I will send him a message because he wasn't totally wrong though.
I decided to come back to keep the forum alive. Tonight, I will hold a conference and post some photos about a museum dedicated to Egypt.

Today, I'm going to hold a conference about the deciphering of hieroglyphics.
Vasudev and shadow.97 certainly think that hieroglyphics have been deciphered in Egypt. Actually, they have been deciphered by Champollion in a mansion in Vif, near Grenoble. This mansion was turned into a museum. Here are a few photos.

Champollion regularly visited Vif in the period leading up to 1826, during which time he worked as a history teacher and researcher in Grenoble. He enjoyed the provincial lifestyle.
Holed away in his room on the second floor of the house in Vif, the Egyptologist devoted long hours to studying Egyptian civilisation and hieroglyphics.

Yes, that's wide-known and famous story. We learnt that at school. Champollion deciphered ancient Egypt hieroglyphs using inscribing on Rosetta stone. But same as in case of shadow.97 and Vasudev, they never told to us at school that process of deciphering was done not in Egypt.
At year 2004, ESA sent a probe to space to land on a comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. And that mission named "Rosetta", in the name of famous Rosetta stone and deeds of Champollion.

Hey Scarface -> Welcome back. I'm not too clear about what you mean by my incriminating messages. AFAIK we are friends and I have no quarrel with you or anyone else here.

I'm glad you brought up the subject of ancient Egypt. Since you know a little more about it than I do, let me ask this. Back in 1995 an advanced study of some Egyptian mummies found traced of cocaine and tobacco. As you know, these drugs are available only in the Western Hemisphere. This means history would have to be rewritten from scratch since there is no record of anybody crossing the Atlantic (and returning) that far back in time. Do you know if this was confirmed, or was this either contamination or a false test result?

I really like seeing all of your posts on the forum :) Keep it going.

Planning on adding some pics soon..
A short life update:

Bought an apartment. 84 square meters, own very tiny garden, balcony and such.

The mortgage is around 200 euro per month, and 70 euro is 'paid' to myself by paying off the loan every month. 380 euro is for:
Gym, guest house, plant boxes, and parking spaces included in this cost.

Here's some cost breakdown per month.
(above stuff)
650
Home insurance:
9
Internet (1000/1000)
10
670 per month.

Comparing this to my current..
950 rent
8 insurance
20 internet connection(free internet, would normally be 10-20 ontop of this)
longer distance to work.. so plus fuel or bus.
978 per month.
No gym or anything included.

But due to me having to do minor fixes and stuff, and pay for the actual apartment it equals out. But i much rather have the stability of not getting rent increases and likely the apartment will increase in price over time.

I also bought a 2017 small budget wagon. Insurance is 45 per month, and gas is around 50-100 per month based on how much i drive. Which is, in fact not that much. I paid 7.5k for the car, summer tyres for 600 including mounting. The side window refuses to go down sadly. But that's okay. I'm not my own passenger :)

I'm currently looking to invest in smart home things, like lightswitches, door bell, alarm for when i get post in the mailbox.

Congrats on the apartment you just bought. 84m² ain't bad if it's just for yourself. Will you be living there alone? No sexy lady to keep you warm at night.  :)  :)

Where exactly is your apartment located? In Växjö or somewhere else?

Does the 380 you mentioned also include what we call "maintenance fee", i.e., to help pay for the general maintenance on the building? Is there some sort of "association" by which everyone is a member and as a vote? And, are the prices in SEK or Euros?

I've heard that in more northern latitudes like where you live, one advantage of living in an apartment is not having shovel snow. Is this true? As a tropical boy this is a subject I know nothing about.

Thank you.
Also, perhaps. Not today, but it's possible to expand with this. Big enough for two, or technically three.
Regarding city, id like to avoid sharing for now due to the increase of ai's feeding of data and using it.

Yes, and Euro :) I'm too used to euro now when looking for housing costs.
It pays for the communal areas, like xxl-washing/dryer if you dont have your own or need to do a huge load, lights of the street, playground, parking, "box-bikes" to loan, car wash, extra sleeping room if you have guests, new post boxes and the building. You also get access to rent utilities like a trailer for a very very low cost,
And yes, you are part of a commité and investments, new loans, and community cleaning days are arranged through this.

Yes and no. If you have an entrance in common you would most likely not have to shovel as often. You still have to shovel when they havn't been out yet. It takes a while to shovel an entire city worth of apartments.
And often times they only shovel the path, not to your door specifically if you share small roads to a car park or out of the apartment complex.
The biggest benefit to apartment is not having to worry about the exterior of the building. My grandparents moved from a house to an "apartment" that is just a house, but a company takes care of the exterior for a reasonable cost.

Of course I respect your decision not to share your city. I just don't understand it. If wanted to hide your address or apartment number, it would make sense. But the city? You know better than I do that today there is no such thing as privacy. Everybody either knows everything about you or can easily find out. I don't know how the law works in Sweden, but here the owner of any property is public information available to all.

Also, does anyone running an AI program really care where you live? How could they use that information to hurt you? I mean, we all have to live somewhere. You told us you lived in Dublin. Did something bad happen because you told us?

Just curious. 🤷♂️
