Good luck.  ;)

Hey Ahmad! Nice to see you again! I don't know what my problem with this is, but downloading this from Mediafire is impossible. You click on the link and just when you think the file is ready, the Blitz Software site comes up and asks for a login & password. I don't know why our Fearless Leader even uses such a problematic site, being that it's so easy to upload them to TPB like he does with his other releases. Oh well, as they say... there's method to his madness. I just wonder what it is. :(

Hey buddy, it's me who is happy to come back again.
Regarding your problem, really I can't even know the cause.
Also, I hope our leader make it a torrent like XP. It's much better.
:) :D

I think this may be your problem at the "problematic site"

Don't click the download fast button. It's one of the adverts that help support them.
They really are an easy site to navigate once you know which buttons not to hit, but like all DDL's I've found, are governed by the rules of commerce.
P.S your not "BrowseTorrents" are you?
P.P.S The April update is there now, but no mediafire links.

My cousin runs Windows XP 32 bit SP3 (Original untouched) but it doesn't matter what type of XP 32 bit, Any XP 32 bit will read the same.
Inside Windows >>  It reads 3.15 GB of RAM.
In BIOS >> It reads 4 GB of RAM.
So, RAM are inserted correctly.
Note that ASUS & Gigabyte websites say that the motherboard may read 3GB or less in case of using 32 bit OS and for that, they recommend 3GB of RAM in case of using 32 bit OS, so rest assured it's normal when using 32 bit OS.
I hope you don't worry any more.
Good luck.  :) :D

There is simply no way to put RAM in the wrong way. It's "idiot proof", i.e., designed in such a way that if you even try to put them in wrong on purpose, they will not install. Notice a small slot both on the DIMM and on the memory module on the motherboard. It's there to prevent incorrect installation.

There also exists a tweak, which I have, that forces Windows to see all 4 megs. The only thing is that it'll work only on Win 7-32, not on XP. Keep in mind that when XP was written, the very idea of using 4 Gb of memory was unthinkable. Also, given the price of memory, I still think you're better off with 4 Gb on XP. What's better: 3.15 Gb available or around 2.50 Gb available?

I never said the site was the problem. Our Fearless Leader would never upload something to a site with the express purpose of making downloading difficult. My problem is that no matter what I do, I get the same result.

Here's what happens when I attempt to download anything. After getting into the site, I could either click on HTTP Download or Fast Download at the top, the end result is the same. It takes me to a site called Blitz software which has a download link for the file I'm looking for. When I click on that, it says "waiting for download to begin", then it stops right there and asks for a login & password.

If I go to the bottom of the screen, it'll have links for those detestable sites such as Mediafire, Rapidshare, Depositfiles, etc. You click on the plus sign on each one, and the file you want is cut up into 100 pieces. The problem with this is that they make you wait forever for the download to begin (and longer the more files you get), the speed is notoriously slow, and batch downloads are not supported. Firefox's SkipScreen add-on pops up, but unless I'm the one doing something wrong, it does nothing. I saw a similar Firefox add-on to deal with these sites, and I believe i'm going to kill SkipScreen and give this one a shot.

What I'd like to ask our Great Leader is simply what is his logic as to uploading his Win-7 monthly releases only to these sites and not to TPB, where it would be easy to get. To put it another way, if he uploads all his stuff to TPB, why not include his Win-7 also?

@humbert
Right, I went in as an unregistered user and now I see what you mean.
Those 3 links at the top are rubbish adds. Ignore them !
I don't usually see them and had forgotten.

Unfortunately, one has to use  "those detestable<cyberlocker>sites such as Mediafire, Rapidshare, Depositfiles, etc."
And your right, as a free down-loader it can take forever to get large multipart files.
Mediafire (as much as I distrust them) do allow parallel d/l's. I got Win7 march in 30min.
But using the alternate's for XP took 9 hours.
I guess someone else needs to up to TPB.

I wasn't aware of the fact that Mediafire allows parallel downloads. If you managed to get Win 7 in 30 minutes, then their download speed must be good -- on the others it's a slow as when using a telephone line. I appreciate the tip. Still, I'll look into that Firefox add-on just to see if it does anything. SkipScreen is useless -- unless I'm the one doing something wrong.
