hello, I've just installed nomaher 64bit version of windows 7 (January) but this windows use half of my ram.

and after I installed my drivers I couldn't use some of windows tools and softwares (for example: games or snipping tools). Actually they don't run at all.
How can I solve these problems?
Are you using intel hd graphics? If so, go to your bios settings & try adjusting vram.

Yes, but I couldn't find what you said in my bios settings. (my laptop is ASUS N55SF)
my graphics is intel3000 and my gaming graphics is nvidia geforce 555m.

He means he's refreshing the actual installation media, not the windows installation on his pc.
Even so, refreshing the install media is pointless as well since windows 7 isn't recieving updates so often(or not so much).

In other words, he's adding the files that are normally downloaded from Windows Update, i.e., those that can be found under C:\Windows\Software Distribution\Download? If so then it makes no sense to do so since his Windows Updates is enabled.

@mdoostm - have you tried resetting your BIOS back to defaults?

try disabling intel hd gfx & use nvidia instead.

That's a bad idea considering he's using a laptop.

I tried it after you said but nothing changed.
I think it is a windows problem not bios setting; because my previous windows worked perfect and I install this (nomaher) version because of the updates.

Halo_2

Ever since the 64bit has needed a dual layer dvd blank to burn it fails in mac boot camp assistant, maher when was your last release to fit on a single dvd?

I have installed latest x64 win7 (January 2015) on two laptops. Everything is fine instead of updates, no updates found in "Installed updates". I have created the usb bootable drive using rufus.

Am I missing something? The installation is pointless without January 2015 updates pre-installed.

Thanks in advance.
