They all are good and do the required job.. You can try all of them and choose what you liked much.

I said "If you like MSE" because who used it said that it doesn't take much resources of the system .. Of course because it's from Microsoft... and BTW free.

AVG also has a free edition.
Our chief "Maher" recommends Avira.. It also has a free edition.

But for me, I prefer ESET.. I think it's the best AntiVirus in the rank of performance.. Light and doesn't slow the system [My PC is slow, so I don't need another thing to slow it more].
If you will go for it, be informed that ESET Smart Security has extra features that don't exist in ESET NOD32 AntiVirus.. These features are Firewall and Parental Control.
But there is no free edition in ESET.

every time i try and install windows 7 it seems to get stuck on expanding windows files at random % or it seems to get 100% and stall at installing features is my hd bad? ive tried 5 different copies of windows
