I meant the Ultimate one of NoMaher, because Im thinking of installing the Ultimate version, u meant all of them or the official ones U've sent me!?

The Difference Between Maher's Downloads Is That, He Just Integrates The Important Updates To The Original ISO Image. So, In Simple Words All ISO Images On This Site Are Official And Clean.

Hey buddy.

I just want to say that you must activate Windows 7 Ultimate after installing it.
And to activate it, you can use Windows Loader by DAZ from any of these links:

After activation, you'll get updates from Microsoft with no problems.

the issue I am having is that it simply will not boot from disk once the correct boot sequence drive is selected for some reason

If your PC doesn't boot even after selecting the CD/DVD ROM then there is problem due to burning
Have you downloaded Maher's ISO 100% and kept them seeding for sometime.
After downloading check the hash of the ISO. as posted on Softarchieve.
DO NOT EXTRACT just burn the ISO image at minimal speed.
Even if you can't get to boot after following the above steps there is something wrong with your motherboard or you are not selecting the right boot device.

Incidentally, when I initially choose to boot from CD/DVD Drive, how do I know that my PC has selected this because this is one of the only areas where I make a selection, that doesn't seem to highlight my choice?

After your CD/DVD ROM has been selected you will see a message "Please press any key to boot from CD/DVD"

What I referred to in my last post with regards to additional Bios settings was the Disk - Diskette Drives & then the choice options of USB / Internal / etc... which should I have selected.

You should select the CD/DVD ROM drive if you are booting from a disc.
If you are booting from a pen drive then you should select USB.

If you have a Genuine key then also you can take updates
& if you do not have a genuine key then you can activate it via DAZ Loader and then you can use your Windows as if it is Genuine and install updates.
